+1 On Darn Tough socks! Mora knife. Therma-cell. Folding foam seat cushion. Swiss Army Knife. There's a relatively thin one that has a decent saw. Think it's called the Hiker. I like the ones that are only 2 or 3 layers, otherwise they get too thick. Some models of Swiss Arm Knives also have good quality scissors. Lumintop AA flashlight. Sawyer water filter. Merino wool beanie. Flame King refillable 1 pound propane tanks and refill adapter. Pathfinder stainless steel 8 in or 10 in frying pan w folding handle and lid. 20 to 30w folding solar panel. Lately I've been buying rechargeable lithium batteries with the built in charging ports. No special charger needed. Rechargeable camping fan. Rechargeable camping lantern w red/ green light option.

You can reuse the Aeropress filter many times. Just rinse the filter and put it back in the Aeropress to dry for the next use. To clean the French press, add water to the used grounds, swirl around and pour wet coffee in your plants or in your compost. That said, my favorite method of making coffee when traveling in the RV is the pour-over method which makes excellent tasting coffee in about 4 minutes with an incredibly easy cleanup.

First aid kit item: Liquid Skin. I've started using a couple of cordless, rechargeable lamps. I buy the ones with a red and green light option so they don't attract bugs. I have liquid fuel and propane lanterns, but the red/green lamps are game changers. I did find some amber tinted porpane lantern globes that are not supposed to attract bugs too much, I just haven't used them yet. I love my french press!!! I use a simmer pad when cooking on my propane stove. It spreads the flame out, so you don't have a 3 in super hot spot in the middle of your pan. Thermo-cell bug repellant. Awesome product. I have the same fan that you showed. It's a good one. I have a couple of others that fold flat, but become A frame shaped when deployed. Each side is about 1ft square. They have a solar panel on one side. In good light, they will run full speed and stay fully charged. They also have a light, serve as a battery back up in a pinch, and they are water proof. I also use them in my off grid hunting cabin when I'm running a propane heater to circulate the air and to stop all the hot air from collecting at the ceiling.

I’d start taking it apart step by step as I do in this video, clean any dirt or sand you may find, check all the parts to make sure everything is working properly and nothing is broken or needs replacing like say a bearing for example. It’s just a process of elimination to find out what is causing an issue in any reel you may have. Just takes a little time to spot it and fix it. Could simply just need to be cleaned oiled and greased, could need a new bearing, or some other part could be broken and need to be replaced. Here is the schematic and parts list to the 5000. You can use it to see where everything goes. 🤙🏽 fishshop.shimano.com/collections/nasc5000xgfc

No worries 👊🏽 Sometimes I find parts on eBay as well. You might not even need any parts, it’s rare I ever do and I have a lot of reels. Just give it a good cleaning and check it all out, make sure all the bearings are spinning smooth, take your time, take pictures or record video along the way to know where every part went, can use the schematic as well, put it back together correctly and then see how it feels. Usually if something is broken or a bearing doesn’t spin or something it’s very noticeable. Best of luck with it I’m sure you can fix the problem. 😊🤙🏽

In your list it looks like you listed an Amazon off brand for the "wire-tie" but the original is by niteize and it's called the gear tie. I've had some for 8 years already and use them all the time. I keep a set of various sizes in the vehicle. When on an off-road trip and nut fell off the suspension and I was able to use one wrapped around the bolt to keep it held in and make the 2-hour drive home. I don't know how strong the off brand ones are, but the originals are super strong. I even have some that are like 5ft long and strap the tent down on the roof.

My husband and I are 69 yrs old and have been married (and camping) for 50 yrs. We tent camped for 35 yrs and have carried everything in 3 totes (except the tent and chairs). One was labeled "table" and was all the items that were used on the picnic table. Table cloth, weights, plates, bowls, cups, measuring cup & spoons, can opener, bottle opener, silverware, S&P, spices, toothpicks, napkins. The 2nd one was "kitchen" and contained the Coleman stove, pots, pans, griddle, utencils, sharp knives, gloves, matches, paper towels, foil, trash bags, etc. 3rd was "food." Each tote has an itemized list (put in a clear sleeve) attached to the top. Way to stay organized and know where items are. We are now in a 26' RV & only use the "kitchen" tote for cooking outside.
