I own a strat and totally agree with everything you said. I also play a 7 string with emgs, sometimes it's just as amazing to plug it in and chug away! Who else thinks Chris should start "Chris' 7-string corner" just as a brotherly act of rivalry :D

Hi, Thobbe. Recently I got the impulse out of nowhere to get a Strat all of a sudden, and thinking about it I could trace the awe of the Strat back to your awesome performance in the Live in Nantes concert. You can really feel the Strat's twang in your solos. I finally decided to order a Player II HSS. Although, after watching this video, I wished I had ordered an SSS :P I've never own a Strat or a guitar with single coils (besides a Schecter with sustainiac), so it should be interesting. Maybe I'll go and get an SSS next year :) Anyway, I just wanted to also say I'm really thrilled to see you joined Sabaton again :D Hoping to see you soon in Mexico :P

Have to agree Strats are the perfect guitar. I recently bought an Ibanez Destroyer to go along with the "Heavy Metal" theme of my band (plus its one gorgeous looking guitar!) but nothing beats the feel and playability of a strat in my mind. Love the solo by the way. Can really hear the Blackmore influence!

I play a strat with a Seymour Duncan JB at the bridge which I prefer for rhythm, but I prefer the neck single coil for solos.
