Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), did this in 1998. Roy Rogers was team member of the Label "Roulé" for the U.S. sales rep, and made the Pantones disks for this market, including this track.

Actually i'm pretty sure it is Thomas (i could be wrong but i dont think so) (Roy Rogers was his house music pseudonym in the early 90's i believe - acording to Mixmag and the like)

Listen at 00:42, this is the same sound that the sound used in Colossus by Thomas Bangalter at 05:39. So, it may be his song.

I hear it has that similar rhythm to ABBA's "Lay All Your Love On Me."

If you listen to other Roy Rogers tracks as well as this one he uses a lot of the same drums as on homework(pitched and eq'd differently) as well as the obvious filter - and while a lot of people use these similar filters now, There really wasnt that many people using that filter around that time! (this is sort of thomas trying not to sound like thomas)
