Cor, I remember watching Toby's Discovery on my 9th birthday, and although that us about the age I stopped watching Thomas, I just remember being so scared. And I remember watching Duncan Gets Spooked when my family were on holiday in Scotland. I remember having a very bleak memory of going over a bride, and begging me dad to get over it before the ghost engine came. I was a stupid little boy.

I agree with this list, I go back and forth with Haunted Henry and BGB being not just my favorite for this season but also for Thomas in general and same goes for season 5. One thing that may change your opinion on Double Teething troubles as well as a few other episodes on this list is if you checked out the US versions of them, say what you will about Alec Baldwin but he really did a great job for narrating this season

Duncan gets spooked, this episode was not only scary and creepy, but I laughed at it so hard, alec Baldwin nailed the Scottish accent with Duncan and the plot was 0reety good for a ttte episode 3.a better view for Gordon, as usual, Gordon is boasting about how he's the greatest, but for the first time since Peter Sams accident in season 4, you see a serous crash, and I love the fat controllers line in the us version; *You will do as you are told!* 2. Horrid Lorri, in the second episode of the season we see the engines deal with 3 lorries, I liked how the lorries bragged, then got carma, smashed, broke and, sunk. Honorable mentions, cranky bugs, donald and Douglas, Stepney gets lost, granpuff, and busy going backwards 1. Haunted Henry; ttte season 5 has had amazing episodes, but this one tops them all, this episode scared the crap out of me when I watched it for the first time,the plot was amazing, and alec Baldwin once again gives a excellent voice for a character, but Henry's is the best, this is why Henry is my second favorite character, and also my favorite episode. Fin.

Definitely agree with you on Busy Going Backwards- nsm on Rusty and the Boulder, but whatevs. Stepney Gets Lost would easily top my list save for Baldwin's narration on the American version. His Stepney voice is ridiculous, and one of my two least favorite voices, after Carlin's apparently minstrel depiction of Caroline. In Baldwin's defense, I definitely like his Derek, Oliver, Toad and Cranky voices. Wish we'd seen more Derek.

Busy going Backwards would have been about 5 or 6 in my list I would have said Put Upon Percy is my all time favourite episode of Series 5 but my least favourite is Gordon And The Gremlin because of the bull sequence it terrified me as a kid and gave me nightmares

Me personally have found Series 5 a bit hit and miss. Never really appealed much to me as a kid as a lot of them I did find scary. Even now, I'm a not a huge fan of it. JLS TV Season 6 is SO UNDERRATED. There are some episodes like Percy and the Haunted Mine and Harvey to The Rescue are some that I really enjoy. People rate this season as pretty mediocre, and I am very annoyed. The season as a whole is almost as good as season 5, but some episodes are REAL gems according to me. I know this question is for Rob the Green Engine, but I never had the opportunity to talk about Season 6.

I know the CGI faces are weird and the episodes don’t really stand out that much but they brought back a lot of classic characters in this series and they were used to their full potential.

If you were to create a new character, what engine would they be?

Well, I have created quite a few characters for my own projects and I am quite proud of them. First there’s Dino who speaks with an Australian accent because some of his parts were imported from Australia, he is the joker of the engines and has a funny comment about everything. And then there’s Cedric, an Engine who helped soldiers travel to other countries during both world wars. Although the war has ended, Cedric believes it is still taking place and he is always giving the engines advice, even though they don’t need it. He is given the nickname ‘Major’ for that reason. I don’t really know a huge amount about real life steam engines so I don’t know what Engine they would be.

I'd probably say 'Busy Going Backwards is my favourite episode from this series and I think your pretty much spot on with your top 5 episodes as they are the most dramatic in this series, which is why I think people rate this season so highly as it has a good handful of dramatic episodes. Personally I think this season is overrated but still good nonetheless :)

Worst episode of all : a better view for gordons , the crash which has gordon too close with his surprise face still too close should have took it off so like when its time as gordon was about to crash they should take out the scene to gordons surprise and eye covered face till he goes through the wall , the series for me is my least series with that episode they instead they must ban the episode i hate a better view for gordon !
