How is Nicki Pedersen allowed to get away with what he does? There's just video after video on youtube of him riding in to people and knocking them off - what the fuck?

Nicki for sure was a tough rider but hardly the first or only one in speedway to be that way. Just look at Tomasz Gollob from the same era as Nicki. He was every bit as ruthless as Nicki, if not more. Also go back to the old one day world championships and take a look at likes of Bruce Penhall, Ole Olsen, Ivan Mauger, Kenny Carter and the list goes on. They where super hard racing on each other and that without all the safety gear they have today. In todays speedway world, Bartosz Smartzlik is every bit as ruthless as Nicki was in his peak. You don't become world champion by being the nicest guy in speedway, unless your name is Greg Hancock.

@@tkmikkelsen1 In my opinion, Pedersen is a dangerous sociopath who should be banned from speedway! Your point about Smartzlik & modern racing may well be true but it was Pedersen who ushered in 'the professional foul' & by that I mean the deliberate contact with other riders to stop them getting away from him. He'll broad-side in to them on the exit of corners, he'll twitch his back end during a corner to unseat a rider & he knows how to become entangled & pit-manoeuvre another during a corner. These things are Pedersen's trademark & whilst in football 'a professional foul' is simply to trip or hold an opponent to stop him scoring, in speedway (with more powerful bikes & faster tracks than in Olsen's day) Pedersen's antics could easily kill & I'm amazed they haven't done so already! The man's a menace & could yet be responsible for a death. I'm sure there's a term in Danish for this sort of cold, calculated type with no regard for human life. I hate him.

You have to watch another 50 years to find rider named PEDERSON. There is only Pedersen.

Very similar to the Carter v Penhall incident in ,1982 world final....that one went the other way

Except Penhall never touched Carter. Here Nicki is clearly at fault as he loses control when he hits a grove in the track and then drifts out into Jonasson. Unlike what the video uploader has put in the description, Nicki does not do this on purpose he simply hits a grove and can't control his drift.

Är det första gången du kollar på speedway med Nicki inblandad? Nicki kör med principen "flytta dig eller bli omkullåkt" han trycker upp folk i planket till höger och vänster och sedan grinar som en bebis om någon kommer nära honom

@@Ownz1982 han har tre individuella mästerskap därför att han är en otroligt skicklig speedwayförare, det har inget att göra med hans osportsliga uppförande.

I disagree fiercely with that statement. Yes, it would save have the crashes per season, but then half the action is gone from the GP series

Nicki has to lock up because Thomas does then he gets a bit of drive and goes into him.

Sodthong well if you used to ride then you should know that Thomas locked up you see his bars come into him and he leans right down to counter and and you should have seen nickis front wheel lift as he gets drive

nicki is or better was anything but a clean rider for sure but in this case it was not intended its just a normal race accident it wasnt nickis fault (still the right decision to exclude nicki though)
