I feel sad whenever i see partey compilations because we have never doubted his skills and abilities but his injuries have been so so so frustrating. He was the star signing who could be legend here. If he played even 5 games more last season maybe we could have won pl. I think coming summer arteta is going to sell him and its understandable on mikels part. He has to be ruthless. He is one of the 'what cud have been' stories. One thing i am still looking forward to is him at least being fit for rest of the season that we have and help us in the title race. Declan Rice is a good player, but he’ll never in his life be able to replace what Partey brings in terms of control and breaking the press with Cruyff-turns etc. The view that Rice was a replacement for Partey had to be wrong - Rice is a new role that the squad didn’t have before. Similarly I think Havertz is mainly a Xhaka replacement not a Jesus back-up.

Well, Havertz was clearly a mistake. But I agree with everything else. But why doesn't Arteta play Zinchenko in that 'Xhaka' position. We won't need havertz if he did that. And Zinny won't get as exposed defensively as he's been. Heck, he plays midfield for Ukraine and he's one of their best players. SMH!
