Everyone seems to hate Teresa but I think she might be one of my favorites ultimately in the books and movie she did what she believed to be the right thing, she wanted to create the cure to save everyone that includes Newt btw. Ends justify the means in a way and even at the end Thomas seemed to forgive her. She's not perfect but ultimately I love the character and I love the Thomas and Teresa ship haha

The book and movie really overlooked Teresa’s death. I also think that in the book the relationship of Thomas and Brenda was a bit forced so they made Thomas stubborn to see why Teresa was doing what she had too. Teresa is one of my favourite characters and her death always makes me cry because she wasn’t treated fairly

I totally agreed... but it makes even more sad that in the books, Teresa had back all her memories, and she died knowing how much she loved Thomas, knowing that Thomas could never forgive her for what she did, even thought she did it for save him :(

Cream Mood Thomas did forgive her and what she did was not bad at all in my opinion. She was told they would kill Thomas if she didn’t act this certain and do every single thing they told her to do. So in a way she saved his life twice. And for the rest of the series she helped Thomas and everyone else do what was actually right. The movie was much more controversial because there actually was a cure.

I love Thomas and Teresa they have both proved that they love each other more than anything so they deserve to be together I hate that James Dashner killed Teresa and broke them up but the way he killed her I can get by with that because if she was killed in any other way I would riot but she died saving the man she loved so that is a plus however throughout the whole series all I wanted was for them to have a happy ending I wanted them to get together and have a happy life but apparently that was too much to ask for James Dashner killed Newt that should have been enough I mean Newt by himself was enough to reduce me to a blubbering mess but then he had to kill Teresa man it just broke me

Teresa (in my opinion) is one of the best written characters. She has a great backstory (kill order) and she stands up for what she believes in. I don’t like her as a character but she’s really well written and really doesn’t deserve what she gets. It’s really sad. I prefer Brenda (movie Brenda) as character but she really isn’t as well written as Teresa. And Newt... well enough said. Edit : This video is so good! It’s about my 7th time watching it!

Thomas was waiting for that kiss for forever😪 Thomas had to watch Teresa die in front of him whom he loved. He also had to kill his best friend who turned. I was never interested in Maze Runner, but heard of it a lot and was wondering who was who and what they were all trying to do, but now they're stuck in my head all day everyday. Also, didn't care about any of them and didn't know any of their names but when Newt and Teresa died, it was the end of the did to me.

Teresa was carrying a guilty conscience. From betraying her friends, the immunes and especially Thomas. Remember when she thought they found the cure via Minho's brain but only delayed the virus? That is also still in play. Possibly, seeing Thomas again made her even more guilty plus he does not even trust her before Thomas knew he was the cure added to Teresa's guilt. Which ultimately lead to her not jumping with them.

I think Teresa purposfully didn't jump. She's a very smart woman, she would've already jumped. And besides, she stood an awfully long time standing. I think her doing that would've been redemption.
