He did not prepare for that. Stell was only invited to do the front act. He sang All I Ask, Room and Defying Gravity. During the sound check David asked him if he could Sing All by Myself. Stell becaame part of the main show without preparation. ❤

Stell's performance is nothing short of impressive. And what makes it even more incredible is that it was unplanned, not part of the concert repertoire, and an impromptu challenge from David Foster. It's even nerve-wracking because the song has "impossible notes." Stell had already sung three high-pitched and vocally demanding songs, and to top it off, he's not in the best condition (he's sick). I had to mention, too, that a day prior to the concert, SB19 had intense performances at an event. And the elephant in the room-he's a man, hitting the piece in female key and doing it cleanly.
