Life on a farm is all we ever needed. Moving to a city, commuting, working indoors and eating garbage we thought would be 'the good life.' We buy a lot of stuff we don't need and then rent a storage unit to store it in. The older I've gotten the more I've realized less is more.

@emergentform118824 күн бұрын
Hey it's important to not make daily IF a permanent thing eh. Short term for wait loss is fine, but when it gets to be over 6 months of whatever it can be counter productive. Puts a lot of stress on the body and can slow metabolism. Also good to take breaks, like give it a rest on the weekends or whatever. Or at least that's what many experts have been saying and I think Thomas would agree.

Dairy products that come from cows and goats that eat GRASS have a high amount of C 15 in their milk. Most of the dairy cows eat mostly grains thus have lower amounts of C 15. C 15 is the newest ESSENTIAL fatty acid that the body must have to be healthy.

Yes eating Whole Foods is what most people do in European countries. When I visit France I get much better everyday foods-not full of chemicals or processed garbage. I always feel much better - less stressed, more sated, I walk a lot more to get around, and I never have the indigestion I get here in the states from the yucky bread, soups, sandwich meats, etc. heck even the fruits and veggies are not sprayed to crap or overly treated to last longer in Europe! I drink mostly water, tea, a little wine, and coffee-hardly any soft drinks or crappy milk products like I get here. I’m moving for sure. Already bought a small home in a small town to save on living costs as I ease into retirement. Peaceful, zero crime, great transportation options, wonderful food, lovely people, great culture and historical sites and things to do and study. Just an all round game changer.

I'm going to provide an extreme example here to illustrate a point that goes with TD's video. I've seen more people lose more bodyfat lying in a hospital bed for weeks than any traditional diet and exercise program. Stop eating the crap and rely on whole foods...take regular periods off from eating (10-12 hours) and allow for the natural deficit to follow, now do this for 6-12 months depending on desired leanness. Exercise 1-2 days a week to maintain muscle.

Yes but there’s a great weight loss tool we never consider. It’s also our positive mindset. Talking to ourselves is the best motivation, and redirecting ourselves from impulse, take time to hash out your biggest additions. I kept them out of the house. I don’t have alcohol in the house any longer since covid’s toxicity on my mind and life. No ice cream, snacks in bags, plastic pouches. make a list of healthy snacks to have on hand that you truly enjoy. Drink cold water mid morning after having had breakfast mid afternoon bc it will trigger the fat burning bc your insides are cold. It’s the best for bc in winter bc your body is trying to insulate. When I walk outside in winter, it’s so much more fat burning bc my body is doing its job keeping me warm by insulating my core. It’s my concept on winter fat burning I went through winter once where, I had just oatmeal for breakfast, soup for lunch apple +2 TBSP peanut butter mid day. dinner. I lost so much weight those winters bc I also walked in freezing weather. That’s our body’s way of using stored carbs and fat for energy. eat fruits and healthy dips with celery, carrots, other vegetables, fruits, and give yourself time to accept these new foods as your choices. This is my way which, to be honest, I’ve strayed from healthy since Covid. I’m on my way back to healthy. No more binge drinking, watching Netflix, social Media. Back to reading, walking, and connecting physically in my community. It’s time for me. thank you for reading this far

Question occurs to me: how would dry fasting compare with hydrated fasting???
@Vincent_Beers4 күн бұрын
Not as good. You need hydration to move everything. You can't pull fat from cells without it. You can't replace dead cells without it. If you're fat, you already have plenty of energy you can live off of from your fat storage while it depletes. But without hydration and electrolytes (your body doesn't store much of them) you can't access your fat storage properly and will die of either dehydration or malnutrition. Fat people can go without calorie intake until their fat is depleted. No one can go without hydration and electrolytes safely, because the body doesn't store enough to last anywhere near as long as caloric fat storage.

This is a genuine clickbait video... here is the summary: "Drink more water and eat less processed foods." Other tips outside this video: Unless you want to open yourself to uncertain side effects from drugs, stay away from any unless prescribed by your doctor, and exercise as best as you can, even if it's something simple or at home, such as pushups, brisk walks, or anything small to give you a better acceptance in being more mobile. The more work done, the more calories burned. Regulate your meals for quantity, time you eat, and quality (in other words, figure out how much food is able to satisfy you until your next meal, fix your times for eating, and change the quality of the food you eat to be high protein, less fat, and less sugar).

Heat destroys. The same as microwave ovens destroy nutrition in food. You should never stand next to a microwave oven when it is working. You should not wear wireless ear pods as the frequency travels through your brain from one to the other. There is more to eating food than carbs and protein.
@MartinCropp24 күн бұрын
@@sophiacromwell8017 Heat destroys vital components of most foods. When you microwave your food to cook or re-heat, the nutrients are harmed. There is more to food than carbs, protein and fiber. There are vegetables that have more nutrient rich protein than meat, without the chemicals.

catabolism of macro molecules requires water to be split. The oxygen in CO2 comes from water. the carbon from fat or sugar.
