Doctor here, and she's not at all wrong about medicine, at all. I routinely talk about nutrition, strength training, lifestyle, and the like in my patient appointments. I have so few patients who will take me up on it, though. If I can get kids or young adults on a sports team, cutting out processed food, spending time with their family, in bed at the same time every night and up at the same time, out hiking, in the sun, cutting out drugs and swapping them with fitness or passions, in prayer and in a healthy church family, my patient population would be infinitely more healthy, and I would need far fewer of the medications that I do use. That's a big ask, and I have so few willing to meaningfully engage with me on that journey. I'm also not afraid to tell someone that I have no idea what they're going on about, but I'm willing to do some reading and get back to them. Often, I am hoping a few words stick, and maybe they spend some time researching it themselves. That's where the growth will happen, anyway.

@@SoundAsleepSpace The issue is that medicine targets multiple receptors. It isn't an exact science and often the meds that get discovered were completely randomly discovered while trying to hit a target function. So we get lots of affected areas which we don't want being affected by the meds. While if we just let the body do it's thing and eat real food, move properly, deal with trauma, nervous system issues, reduce stress, socialize, sunlight and keep a consistent circadian rhythm, etc---we'd be much better off without the need of meds. We've been sold on the idea that we can eat anything and just fix the issues with meds. I see my dad on endless meds as a result and it just keep getting worse. He was STRICTLY told to NOT eat fats. Yet they wanted him to eat high carbs? I'm positive as a result of this way of eating along with all the meds, he developed dementia. We need saturated fats. The entire food pyramid is a joke.

**Key Takeaways:** 1. The Power of Diet in Health Management: Mikhaila's journey illustrates the profound impact diet can have on chronic health conditions. Her transition from skepticism about food's role in health to adopting an all-meat diet highlights how dietary changes can lead to significant improvements in autoimmune conditions, vitamin deficiencies, and overall well-being. This emphasizes the importance of considering nutrition as a fundamental aspect of health management, especially for those with chronic illnesses. 2. Questioning Authority and Medical Orthodoxy: Mikhaila's experience with the medical system led her to challenge conventional wisdom and authority figures. Her story underscores the importance of being an active participant in one's health journey, rather than passively accepting diagnoses and treatments. It also highlights the potential shortcomings in the current medical system, particularly in addressing chronic conditions through lifestyle interventions. 3. The Potential of Elimination Diets: Mikhaila's success with an elimination diet demonstrates the value of this approach in identifying food sensitivities and intolerances. Her experience suggests that elimination diets can be a powerful tool for individuals to understand their body's unique responses to different foods, potentially leading to significant health improvements. 4. Personal Empowerment in Health and Life: Throughout her journey, Mikhaila emphasizes the importance of taking control of one's own health and life. This shift towards personal empowerment is a recurring theme, whether in managing health, questioning authority, or exploring spirituality. Her story encourages individuals to take an active role in their well-being and not to underestimate their capacity for change and resilience. 5. The Complex Relationship Between Diet, Mental Health, and Spirituality: Mikhaila's experiences touch on the interconnections between physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual beliefs. Her journey from skepticism to faith, alongside her dietary changes, suggests that health transformations can have far-reaching effects beyond just physical symptoms, potentially influencing one's worldview and spiritual outlook. 6. The Value of Open-Mindedness and Willingness to Change: Mikhaila's story is fundamentally about change and adaptation. Her willingness to challenge her own beliefs and try new approaches led to significant improvements in her life. This underscores the importance of remaining open to new ideas and being willing to change one's mind in the face of new evidence or experiences. 7. The Potential Limitations of Conventional Medicine: While not entirely dismissing the value of modern medicine, Mikhaila's experiences highlight potential gaps in the conventional medical approach, particularly for chronic conditions. Her story suggests that integrative approaches combining conventional medicine with lifestyle interventions might be more effective for some individuals. 8. The Role of Fasting in Health and Clarity: Mikhaila's discussion of fasting highlights its potential benefits not just for physical health, but also for mental clarity and spiritual connection. This points to the multi-faceted nature of health practices and their potential impacts beyond just physical well-being. Conclusion: Mikhaila Peterson's journey of transformation across multiple aspects of her life - from her diet and health management to her views on authority and spirituality - offers a compelling narrative about the power of personal agency and open-mindedness. Her experiences challenge conventional wisdom in several areas, particularly regarding the role of diet in managing chronic health conditions. While her specific approach (an all-meat diet) may not be suitable for everyone, her story underscores the importance of self-advocacy, critical thinking, and willingness to experiment in one's health journey. It also highlights the potential limitations of one-size-fits-all approaches in medicine and nutrition, suggesting that individualized strategies may be necessary for optimal health. Mikhaila's journey from chronic illness to improved health and from skepticism to faith demonstrates the profound interconnections between physical health, mental well-being, and personal beliefs. Ultimately, her story serves as a powerful reminder of the human capacity for change and adaptation, and the potential for individuals to take control of their health and life trajectory, even in the face of significant challenges.

@@Pidgeys Bro, if you aren't too lazy to watch the video or read the key takeaways you would have found this: Here's a concise summary of the five key changes: 1. Food's role in health: She went from believing food had little impact on health to recognizing its crucial role after experiencing dramatic improvements in her autoimmune conditions through dietary changes. 2. Eating only meat: Mikhaila discovered she could thrive on an all-meat diet, contrary to her previous belief that vegetables were necessary for essential nutrients. Her health improved significantly on this diet. 3. Trust in doctors: She lost faith in conventional medical wisdom after realizing that dietary changes, not medications, were the key to managing her health issues. This led her to advocate for patients being their own health advocates. 4. Trust in government: Her experiences with the medical system and personal challenges led to a broader skepticism of authority figures, including government officials. 5. Belief in God: Mikhaila shifted from an agnostic stance to having faith in God after personal experiences and witnessing her mother's spiritual encounter during a health crisis. These changes were driven by her personal health struggles, experiences with the medical system, and a growing sense of empowerment in taking control of her own health and life decisions.

I have a client , she's an MD physician in Vancouver Canada, when she was in her 20s, she came from another country, she was already a physician there, she had to redo her schooling in Canada to get her PhD accredited. Three years ago she said this is a sick care system , so she got out.I tried very hard to coach her to do her healing her own way. She was so burnt out she couldn't do it during that time. She also couldn't pay her mortgage or her kids education so sadly, she went back into it again in a different province. She would take time with her patients,, send them to naturapaths. She sent me to one, best thing I ever did! She would get in trouble all the time by the board! You understand this Mikhaila 😉 you are so wise. Anyway, I did interview her on my channel. She likely still has "Leaky Gut". I suffered very similarly to her, before I discovered my gluten intolerance. But by that time, my former "mild" allergy to wheat... was suddenly causing very extreme reactions. Not just that... but suddenly, I could no longer ingest: Eggs, Dairy, Garlic, Soy, and likely a few other things... Eggs caused my intestines to become so inflamed, that they swelled up like a balloon... and I couldnt go #2 for like 3 days (too tight for anything to pass). Dairy was making me hack up almost a half a can worth of phlegm. Anything with soy, seemed to cause Massive Migraines (felt like my brain was being Crushed, and no painkillers would help... at all). When I stopped eating all of those items... my health stopped degrading... and I started to feel much better. Unfortunately, I will never be the same... but at least I wasnt getting worse. Eventually, I lost my job due to Cov!d... and I went into a massive state of Depression... where I didnt want to even move off of my Bed... let alone, cook anything complex anymore. As such... I just bought a large box of frozen hamburger patties, from walmart. Id pan fry one up every night, and that was pretty much all that I ate. That went on for like 2 years... before I bought this expensive liquid vitamin bottle, that I found at a health store. I also decided to try taking some Collagen powder, in my drinks. That probably went on for a few months, before I ran out of the stuff. Then... Because I was started to crave eating some "Bad Things".. and because I wanted to see if I was still allergic... I decided to re-test myself. I started out with Eggs... and surprise... I no longer had any reaction to them. I then tried some 2% Milk. I barely had any phlegm, nor #2 issues. As such, I then added some Cheese, and Ice Cream... without much of any issues. Finally... I decided to try a Pizza (Gluten + Dairy). The reactions were minimized, compared to what they used to be. Its still bad for me... but nowhere near as bad... at my Peak Worst. I realized that when my health took a nose dive... and my reactions became "Extreme" ... that it was likely due to a condition called "Leaky Gut"... where foods/proteins were passing through my stomach lining... and traveling into my bloodstream. This would cause severe Auto-Immune responses.. where my body would be attacking itself.. trying to rid itself of the "Baddies". Healing your Gut, is no easy.. nor quick... feat. Especially when your body is already in a very bad, and beaten, state. Eat the wrong things... and your gut will never fully heal / recover... and or.. will get even worse. Stress from work, and life... could also play a factor, in how much you either heal... or get even worse. Because I was no longer working... I was no longer experiencing a lot of daily Stress. And due to my deep depression... I was probably getting over 10 hours of very Deep restful Sleep.. every single day. Combine that with an all Beef diet... and several years worth of time... and I healed up to a much more functional state. A state where I could go back to eating things like Eggs, Dairy, Garlic and Soy... and not have crazy issues anymore. I can even eat small amounts of wheat, without major reactions (but if I eat too much per week, I start to suffer the negative effects, that quickly add up). I know Im not fully healed... and I likely never will fully recover. But at least, Im at a somewhat livable state now.

Hello Thomas and Mikhaila, First of all Thank You for the outspoken confession of faith. As a 66 year old life-long Christian, (for from perfect and still growing), I would just humbly say that we live in a day where we are hearing from a humanistic view that we can just take charge of our life and decide to make the changes needed within ourselves. We had no control of our being created, or in the design of our unbelievable anatomy, and we cannot factually guarantee our next breath on our own accord. God is my rock, my strong tower, my hope, my strength, my reason for living. And as Mikhaila said, once a person realizes not only the existence of a real God; and they see Him literally responding to their outcry; then no one can take that kind of peace as she felt away from them as long as they realize that that peace can only come from God, and not from themselves alone. Vey good video and again I thank you both.

I had a similar experience with my health; I'd been pretty sick for a few weeks and I am in my early 60's, which is when my dad had his heart attack/stroke (nearly fatal), so I was very concerned about it happening to me. I drank a lot of wine daily, so I prayed to God to help me stop and help me feel better; the next day I didn't want to drink and started to feel better and better, and it wasn't even the struggle I had feared it would be! After the recent rfk jr interview with jp, I am convinced that these stories of people being allergic to almost every food is due to the unregulated chemicals in most food in the us and Canada, and pesticides. The traditional way of making bread is mostly done in more European countries and the wheat isn't sprayed with roundup. It's no surprise people eventually start having symptoms from eating poisoned food but also something that is hard to digest unless processed correctly. It amazes me that as far as physical science is concerned, we have gone from being able to pile up rocks to being able to harness nuclear energy, walk on the moon, see back to the beginning of time etc. in just a couple hundred years. But on the medical side, we still can't say what a person should eat! We have experts and scientists who have spent their entire lives studying these things, and yet every week they change their minds over whether coffee is good for you, or salt, or eggs, or a plant based diet, or a totally meat driven diet. Why is this?
