I don't believe the US government helps keep the population healthy and guide them in the right direction when they basically tell you to eat properly but feed you all the wrong foods? Organic food has a shortage because farming is being depleted. The US can do more farming and stop with the theories that actually harm more than they do good. Most everything in the supermarket either are loaded with preservatives, chemically infused color dyes (known to cause cancer), processed Sugars and worse Fructose corn syrup and an amazing quantity of sodium! It is a task to try to purchase something that contains natural sweetener ingredients, low natural sodium. It is so difficult that people just buy whatever and the results are terrible. Doctors ALL should march on the streets and demand better quality foods for the population, IF they really want to help with deceases, viruses and all type of health issues. There will always be illnesses, there will always be a need for a doctor, because there are many health deficiencies in humanity.

Dr. Ovadia. I recently had a Takotsubo cardiomyopathy event. When I was being discharged the cardiologist said he was amazed at how quickly I was recovering. As I was getting ready to leave another fellow in the ward congratulated me and asked what I was doing to heal so quickly. I immediately credited my diet. We were then interrupted by a nurse who the patient then asked about nutrition. She recommended low fat, whole foods, lean meat etc. As I was leaving I pulled up your book on my phone and recommended he download the audio and learn nutrition from a cardiologist. He eagerly agreed. I’m hoping you saved another life.

Patients fail themselves as well. while doctors do need to take some accountability 95 percent of the failure is the patients. they live unhealthy lifestyles and refuse to change and doctors know they won't change but they can't let them die it's against their code so they have no choice to start medication. to prolong life because it's their job. Patients need to make the effort first. i use to blame everyone for my overweight my bad health i use to blame the doctors for not wanting to help me and i was force to take all these meds damaging my kidneys liver. but once finally i came to the realization after a one-week hospital stay the problem wasn't the doctors it was me and not taking accountability it was me living a unhealthy lifestyle. eating out, eating lots of junk food. frying everything. high amounts of saturated fats. all it took was a simple lifestyle change. not a diet but change. first thing cut out all carbonated drinks and junk foods. second portion everything and not overeat. no extreme diet. no keto no carnivore diet, no intermitted fast or none of that BS you see on KZbin or celebrities. just a simple balance and i work out 60min everyday alternating between low intense cardio and resistance training. 2yrs later and I'm in the best shape of my life no meds whatsoever. my doctor looked at me smiles and hugged me saying he was so proud of me and my progress and couldn't wait to see me in 6 months. now im not saying all doctors are good yes there are many bad ones. but honestly people need to be held more accountable for their unhealthy lifestyle and not put all the blame on doctors or pharmaceutical companies.

@@matthewjuarbe5826 Glad to hear you've taken back your mitochondria and taken back your life. The "Will Power" cliché doesn't work en mass apparently, but at the end of the day, it's all what it takes to turn things around. Yes, the patient is ultimately held accountable no matter they wish they can blame whoever they want. I couldn't agree more than that. In some degree, a doctor is like a teacher. A teacher is assigned to teach you how to do things but students have to figure out their future themselve. If we don't blame teachers for every sentencing, we can't *_ONLY_* blame doctors when one is sentenced to metabolic diseases in the same manner.

@@JohnWilliams-gy5yc the biggest issue im seeing is the word diet. "Diet" is an issue for me because Diet means temporary when it isn't this is a life change that needs to be done for the rest of your life. also people use the word inter fast keto carnivore diet and all of these things that really scare and confuse people. which ultimately makes them not want to change cause it's too confusing and feels impossible. everyone is different everyone body is different so intermediate fast might not work for you it doesn't work for me i got to have my 5 meals a day. also, these BS so called hacks need to stop. like apple cider vinegar and all these BS claims these things will burn fat jump start your metabolism etc.

Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet! I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!” I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank! I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do! I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 1 year and 10 months now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️ * No more perimenopause- completely reversed! *Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals.And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself! *No more night sweats *No more waking every 2 hours at night! *It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast! *No more life long eczema *No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.) *No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.) *No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea) *No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm *No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.) *No more brain fog *No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows *used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more! *Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight. *Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing! *Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well. *Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s. *Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me. *No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach! *Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup! *no cravings unless they are for meat *no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago. *No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around. * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller. *feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that. *Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights. * no more body odor! * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much. *I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that. * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things. *Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing! *no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing! * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too! *Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before. *Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides! *I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone! *I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore. *My teeth look more white on carnivore. *My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome! *i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone. * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months. *the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry! *little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance! *The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy! *My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier! *my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be. *My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!) Want to mention if you start to get any allergy symptoms further into carnivore you may have histamine intolerance. Happened to me if I ate smoked meats daily for months straight. Went back to baking my meats and all the symptoms went away! Look into histamine intolerance when starting carnivore to make sure you know symptoms and not to eat smoked aged meats daily like I did if you get symptoms. Eat smoked meats less often. I do go outside daily for at least an hour a day during week and several hours on weekends if possible! I try to stay on consistent sleeping schedule of 6-8 hours of sleep and sleep like a bear!☺️ So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to fins out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️

I got put on meds for hypertension about 4 months ago, recently had a follow up lipid panel drawn and was told my cholesterol was high. I also have disc damage, nerve pain, and OA. I met with the Dr. and handed him an article discussing the actual reduction rate of statin drugs from the Journal of the AMA. I told him I was more concerned about my metabolic than my high LDL. He stopped me mid sentence and said “I don’t have time for this”, and ended the appointment. I tried low carb and intermittent fasting a few years ago to help manage pain, and I’m back on it now. So far it is making a tremendous difference in my pain management.

I was strict carnivore for four years. I had a lot of joint pain. Being carnivore helped a lot! After three years a got some blood tests. I had high cholesterol and ldl. But very very low triglycerides. I gained a nice amount of muscle as I healed and became able to lift weights. In the last year I progressively lost my ability to eat as much. I’m very active with a hard manual labor job and more. So 3-5 pounds of meat a day was just maintenance for me. In the fourth year I was losing weight and failing to eat enough so I added rice and fruit and other things but still eat healthier than 99%, I’m sure. I did get bigger and stronger again and I feel good. I do get joint pain sometimes and then I just eat only meat for a few days and it’s gone

@ToddChampion-iw3zm3 ай бұрын
@@rajeshmaradi6572 I believe that high LDL is ok as long as you are not accumulating plaque in your arteries. There are different types of scans you can get that can see atherosclerosis, soft plaque, etc. A CAC scan(coronary arterial calcification)cannot see soft plaque, but it is a cheap and available test that could ease your mind to a degree. There are people who have had high LDL for decades who have a CAC score of zero. There are also people who have normal LDL throughout there lives who do have atherosclerosis. There are anecdotes of people who became carnivores and were able to lower their CAC score’s significantly, but I think that that was considered impossible according to modern medicine. Strict carnivore diet is not a context that doctors have experience with, so although it is wise to get tests, document, and consult with doctors, they are unlikely to have definitive answers. Some doctors will say that they know being strict carnivore is dangerous or deadly. I personally would not work with such a doctor, because they definitely haven’t ever studied a strict carnivore patient.

I think the reason everyone has a different answer is because everyone's body is different. There's no One-Size-Fits-All solution. Every single person needs to experiment with what works and doesn't work for them. Learn to adapt to what you're body is telling you it needs to survive and thrive.

We get different opinions because some are continuing to parrot the cholesterol gospel and refusing to do any research whatsoever. A surprising thing I learned is that doctors get 4-8 hrs, or less, of instruction on nutrition and it's the same thing we've all been told for the last 50 yrs. But here's the truth, NONE of that was, or is, based on evidence. None of it. The Dietary Guidelines, that turned how the entire western world ate on its head, was not, and still isn't, based in science or evidence. Check out Nina Teicholz and Zoe Harcombe, PhD researchers who have been doing excellent work exposing all of this.

The studies don’t back up what he’s saying. Highly restrictive diets aren’t sustainable long term for most people. They’ve done studies comparing low carb to low fat. There’s not much of a difference. Both are better than the standard American diet. The main difference is low saturated fat, low or no processed foods. There is no reason to only eat meat, eat Whole Foods. Eating meats is fine, but eat plants too. It’s the lack of processed foods and lower calories that make carnivore look good. And tbh it’s better than processed foods, but it has high cancer rates (red meats) calorie restriction and processed food elimination are the key. The carnivore fad is just that. All of human history we ate a lot of plants, the hunter gatherer origin, was just that, they did a lot of gathering.

I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar or oil and low salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, sprouted flourless grain bread, rice, oats, potatoes and seasonal apples. Also, I save money by not having to buy pills or visit the Doctor. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.

I would love to have Dr. Ovaida’s book as I want to pass it along to my GP. I have been eating this way for over a year and I have healed in sooooo many ways. However, my doctor is freaking out over my cholesterol. I am trying to educate her, but she clearly thinks I’m killing myself. I have no idea how she cant look at all my labs and see sooooooo many improvements in everything else (weight, thyroid, skin, sleep, brain fog, joints, mood, anxiety, etc) and she still is focused on my cholesterol numbers. I don’t want to leave her and find another doctor. I want to prove my point and change her mind! I ‘d love to give her this book!

I’ve been wanting to contact Dr. Ovadia to talk about surgery for closing the holes in my gear. I’ve been told it’s a big risk but I know that having this surgery would change my life and would give me a better quality of life. Thanks for always putting out great videos! Hiya, I have eds too (classical) am 51. Had a bentalls with aortic valve replacement march 2023. They found I had a leaking valve at age 20 and had been keeping an eye on it for 30 years, probably born with the defect. Been a carnivore for a few years and keto b4 then. My cardiologist was amazed how quickly I recovered with zero complications and the wound healed quickly (good old steak) she called me the perfect patient and they could never find me because I was wandering round the hospital getting my steps in and healing! Went home and recovered on my own after 6 days, still carnivore 5ft 6 inches, 138lbs male and pretty ripped with v low fat. Carnivore for the win. Good luck. Remember if you hear hooves, it could be a Zebra

You have encouraged me to keep asking and not accepting that EDS will keep me from having surgery. I’ve already had around 23 and not a single time did I have trouble except for a bit is stitches coming out but that classical for you but I’ve noticed my skin is healing quicker than ever with different times I’ve had a sore or a summer bug bite so I would say that would be true after surgery as well now!

@@AmyThelibertyofitall so glad to hear that you are out the electric wheelchair and all the other carnivore health wins you have had. My surgery was a life changer for me as although I didn't really have any symptoms the valve was leaking quite heavily in the end causing the aortic root to inflate like a balloon and I was basically a ticking timb bomb, so for peace of mind alone it was worth having it done. I feel like 22 years old and its due partly to carnivore and partly to my heart working properly for the first time ever. My eds was not a factor I took into account when having the surgery and apart from some dislocations and shoulder surgery it hasn't been too bad over my lifetime and I count myself lucky. I wish you the best of luck and hope you continue to improve and get your heart in good working order for a long and happy life.

I started carnivore diet three weeks ago yesterday. I’m 66 year old women. Started out at 187 pounds now 173, was on BP meds 20 mg of lisinopril, I haven’t took a pill in 3 days, I am monitoring my blood pressure three times a day and it is so low. I went and gave blood 4 days ago and was on meds and my blood pressure reading was 99/67 so I decided to get off the 20 mg of lisinopril plus amlodipine 5 mg which is a calcium blocker to help lower blood pressure some days I was had to take a extra 20 mg up because my blood pressure was running like 160/110. So I haven’t been 100% but this is my results in 3 weeks. I was a daily drinker of whiskey or margaritas and hardly drink anything but water. I’m thinking I better stick with this lifestyle. I’m loving how I feel and the quick changes. FYI I stayed on the toilet for 2 weeks. So this is normal.

The one thing that these videos need to stress when talking about carnivore/eating meat, etc is that they absolutely need to be grass fed & finished only, true pasture raised chicken and eggs, and wild caught fish. Meats that weren't raised eating corn and soy meal. Eating grain-fed supermarket meat and cheap farm-raised fish will not help you at all and will only keep you poisoned and inflamed. Watch out for fakes, like egg brands that claim to be from pasture-raised chickens but are actually not.
@polkhigh_33Ай бұрын
Thats absolutely not true, stop spreading that elitist nonsense please. Any of the experts in this relatively new field regularly state that any cheap animal product will still be 1000% better than eating non-animal-based. And furthermore, that the nutritional quality difference between high- and low-value meat is neglectable and up for debate. Grainfed meat and farm-raised fish DOES NOT poison or inflame you. Picking wild caught fish, pasture raised chicken and grass fed meat is 1) a matter of taste preference 2) a thing of empathy. Animals sacrifice their lives to ensure our existence. If we can afford it, we should let them live the best life possible. But if youre on a budget, have a large family or simply dont give two flying farts about empathy, youre perfectly fine to get that walmart steak, ground beef and eggs, you will do just as fine as with the expensive stuff.
