Thanks so much for this video. Being a woman in her early 40’s, I realize that there’s a lot of changes going on in my body and I’m sure the reason I can’t lose the weight I lost before the pandemic has to do with that. I can’t get those 10lbs off that I’ve gained since 2020😬🤦🏾‍♀️🙁 and there not a of video content out there for women on keto having this same issue. I do enjoy the science behind your video’s and I do try my hardest to implement at least 1 thing from each video. Along with fasting every other day, changing up my fasting routine, carb cycling and HITT training 4-5 days a week. I’ve also started drinking LMNT! Thanks!

Bloating and distension have been a huge problem for me. When I am doing carnivore it pretty much completely resolves. Carbs definitely are the main cause of bloating for me. I definitely have some SIBO or candida or something in the gut that feeds off the sugars and fodmaps. If bloating/distension is an issue for you, I would highly recommend cutting the carbs as low as possible.

@@moniryousefian8782 For many people, going low FODMAP seems to be enough to help. For me, I have found all carbs (aside from non fermentable fibers) are problematic for me. Thus I do best when I avoid rice, quinoa and sweet potatoes and any food with a substantial carb content. My hope is that when my gut rebalances, I will be better able to handle those foods and reintroduce them, but I think I have also not been consistently strict enough to see the long term results I would like yet.

Really GREAT video. Also, I love the tech used by your pre/probiotics. Dr. Josh Axe has a couple videos on the benefits of using something called Bentonite Clay for countering parasites. I used that when I was addressing a SIBO condition that I was having and I guess it worked okay. I also purchased a probiotic that has soil based organisms in it, which helped a lot. But I appreciated your information on bloating caused by adipose tissue (visceral fat). Lots of good info in this video. Thank you.

I definitely think stress is part of it. People who have experienced significant (and ongoing) trauma (most ppl) tend to hold their breath. I'm wondering if it would be good to just sit and take several deep breaths before (or after?) eating (I recall reading that digestion requires a lot of oxygen). Manuka honey is supposed to help with the H. Pylori. I eat maybe a half tsp or less and immediately feel better. It's kinda spend-y, so I save it just for that and eat local raw honey otherwise. Another thing that helps is Swedish bitters. If the company hadn't told me to not take it too regularly to prevent dependence on it, I would take it with every meal. But just a fourth of a tsp of the bitters usually makes a lot of difference. Peanut butter is also a must for me. Maybe all the niacin (calming)? Anxiety is a big issue for me. I just fasted for 24hrs (a first), I'm so proud of myself, lol ;-)

I’m not a believer in magic bullets, but I swear that the most beneficial things I do is eat three stalks of celery per day. I’m 32 and have been suffering from bloat and digestive discomfort for several years I believe due to stress. It was so bad that occasionally I would go a day or two with out eating because I was in such discomfort. I couldn’t afford professional help so I finally started taking probiotics and drinking ACV mixed with a glass of water and this has basically cured me. These two changes have changed my life.

I fell after hiking 6 miles in the sun. Broke my ankle. Gained 10 lbs for 3 weeks until I went for boot vs crutches [no way to use a boot for the 1st 2 weeks]. I have lost more than I gained and was intermittent Fasting paleo 19 hrs a day. I HAD to be able to move to heal. 7 days of 15mg Meloxicam makes me feel gut sick BUT I lost all extra swelling so I can repair my cells. I have never noticed association between swelling and unexplained weight gain overnight due to full body face plant on concrete that broke some bones. I am 70, so expect some of this is age at trauma related. And I was off all hormones so it's a disaster...

As much as I hate to say it, but carbs are notoriously bad for my stomach bloat. It can any kind, whole wheat, oatmeal, sweet potato, fiberous vegetables , they all leave me with a hard bloat. In certain cases I think undereating can also be a reason. It's like either you completely fast or you eat a ton of food and theres not much in between that works. Intermittent fasting has helped also progesterone cream ( but dislike using it as it causes depression), also lower carbs has helped and more rest. But it's so hard to stick to some things. This started in my 30s really didnt think perimenopause came so quickly but it had to have something to do with stress and hormones.
