I am actually considering turning this into a battery storage box and charger 🤣 keeps batteries warm in winter and cool in summer.

Great for the job site or at-home party. My experience, loaded with drinks and food, it only lasted about 2 days. For camping there is better options. But pairing this up with the drawers and radio is what makes this unique.

Yes, it's 1-3/4" thick, making for a nice robust lid.

Sounds like a good idea. I've only had it for about 3 weeks and the weather in Michigan hasn't been much over 70° lately. Maybe I'll fill it all the way this summer and put it on my deck, where it's mostly sunny throughout the day.

what can be Milwakee’s perfect product. Upside down leaking was disappoint. Impact socket is the last product on my wish list on Milwaukee product. Battery tool is gone because of low quality battery. These reason makes the grade maybe.

@@MarkThomasBuilder Actually I havn’t used any milwaykee tools yet. But some facts can found even before using that by other’s review. Milwaukee have more power than bettary ability. That’s one of reason of battery life. And Milwaukees battery manage system doesn’t offering strong balacing charging system. I am not sure that all of battery(newst one) also same. But heard many review. I think metabo will be good. But I think milwaukee is cheap comparing its power. Except for battery

Can you test it with dry ice for us vanlifers? See if the plastic holds up, may need a little cardboard or foam so its not just touching the bottom.

I've never tested dry ice before, but now may be a good time to start. How long would you think a block of it would last in a normal cooler?

@@MarkThomasBuilder I think ice in a decent cooler will last about a week. Including opening/closing it regularly. I'm betting at least 2 weeks with dry ice. Although it can't be combined with water really. And you have to be well ventilated. Maybe putting the dry ice in a bin would be better so all of the Co2 stays trapped. Ish. Going to need a lot of testing/research. There's also of course the temperature difference. Being too cold won't be good for some fruit for example.

Not impressed. Ryobi made a better cooler that plugs into the car outlet and you can use the batteries to use the cooler like a fridge. Milwaukee please make a better cooler

Thank Jay! I actually had a GoPro camera inside the cooler to get some footage of me pouring water in quickly. It didn't turn out as cool as I hoped, so I scrapped the idea.

On a hot day at the jobsite, I normally have a jug of water, which hits the spot. Iced tea is more for around the home.
