Would you choose the M12 or M18 fan? Would you like to see Milwaukee make a misting fan?

I have 3 of the M18 fans. I stocked up back in 2017 before Hurricane Irma. I live in South Florida. Fans are a must down here, for hurricane prep and just in general due to the heat. I’m still going to buy the m12 fan because of the size and the fact it’s quieter.

I am an electrician working in the heat and humidity in Florida. It's hot this year. I bought one of these and it goes with me everywhere I go. I also bought 2 M12 6.0 amp hour batteries just for it. With the 2 fully charged batteries, the fan lasts the entire day. As long as I'm in the direct flow of air coming from the fan I'm cooled off a bit. My sweat evaporates much faster so my clothes don't become completely saturated with sweat. It's a really good product. Very light weight so it's easy to move around. If you're looking for something to keep you cool on a hot job site, this fan, and any of the fans like it will work okay. Obviously nothing is going to be able to cool you down like an AC or a cold shower, but this will keep you in the game for a little longer each day.

Great review. I switched to mostly M12 to try to lighten the load at work and haven’t been disappointed. This little fan is great. Misting and AC adapter for all fans would be nice but I know that when a bunch of tech gets crammed in that it usually shortens the lifespan.

its nice to see a fan on the M12 platform. I have alot of milwaukee tools and other brands as well.. A few years ago I hought the Ridgid fan because it has a dial for the speed instead of 1,2 & 3. and it was more rpm's than the milwaukee. It also was a hybrid where you can use an extension cord instead of having to buy the mfg power cord. The ridgid can be dialed in for more precise control. This year they updated their fan to be more powerful than the old one.

the m18 needs a serious upgrade that's long overdue. Milwaukee should consider a optional led light on a upgraded fan.
