My daddy was a 100% disabled service-connected army vet. He passed away in 2013. It makes me so mad and I just want to cry for what our men and women have fought for and now look what our so-called leaders have done to this country? For my daddy would not recognize our country anymore.

My grandfather was a supply boat captain in WW2. He was held POW by the Japanese. He was one of the blessed to have survived. He passed away when I was 7. I am 53 now and my aunt wrote down his stories before he passed. I read them when I was in college. They were the greatest generation.

My dad was a WW2, Korea, Vietnam vet…all my uncles served WW2, my cousins all served and one killed in Kuwait and his aunt husband killed in Vietnam while the one killed in Kuwait father served during the gulf war alongside his son, my brother served as a SF Group 7 Green Beret, and I served USMC…and I have been a firefighter/first responder for 20yrs. My great grandfather died two years ago from old age but he served in WWII. And my dad is currently active duty in the Navy. I know that they would appreciate this a lot. My great grandfather once told me that the real hero's were those who never made it home. That has stuck with me for years and always makes me sad when I think about it. Thank you for making this! as a canadian , a recovered alcoholic . i had a very hard time beliving in jesus for many many years did jailtime, after i got oout i made a family i literally stopped drinking 1 year ago . feels so good like i have been guided by God himself through that rocky hill that felt like the big bottle was the king of the hill and kept knocking me down . thankyou for making music like this . makes people like me belive in that super high power ! i feel like God picked me up by a shoulder and walked me up that hill in life and broke the bottle for me so i couldent get into a battle with that demon anymore. thanks godbless
