I can relate to this song a lot. I feel for anyone that loses a parent at any age, but specially the young ones that lose them too early.

He moved out at 16 and it's been a struggle the last 3 plus years to repair our relationship. My first concert was Metallica during the "Load" tour in January of 1996. I was 12, went with my older brother. Changed my life. Korn opened for the them and was "booed" throughout their whole set lol. Anyways, that was my first Metallica experience and I'm proud to say I've seen them 3 times and even flown to San Francisco from AZ to see them since. My all time favorite band and "Load" is the first album I heard from them. Good music is good music.

I remember the first time I heard this song. My father bought me Load just one day before he went to NY to work. He spend almost 4 years away from home and at that time I did know if I will be able to see him any time soon. I felt that moment as a huge lost (thank God my father is alive). Every time I hear this song my memory goes back almost 20 years. It was a hard time, but at the same time that time formed my character.
