Marvel has such a great villain and actor in Tom Hiddleston, people love Loki and I mean love and are loyal to him! Because Tom Hiddleston delivers ever action and line or look or facial expression with some emotional meaning! We all feel his pain, anger, glee at his mischief, his sorrow, fear, hate, vulnerability, passion, need for love, his despair for need a place in this world! Loki has so many layer's, Tom Hiddleston brings all Loki's flaw good or bad to light, every time he gets to one lay he makes us see another! I really think Thor and Loki need each other, you can't have one without the other! The love, hate brotherly relationship makes the conflict within Loki more complex! Loki brings out the best in Thor, he just wants his brother back, he want to know somewhere in him he's redeemable! Loki is broken, yet no matter how badly Loki behave's but Tom Hiddleston is so good at playing this character, he makes us root for him! I just can't see Marvel killing off Loki anytime soon, everytime he's on screen you can't look away, as soon as he's off screen I can't wait till he's back on! Loki has alot of fan's, quess will see but I wish he was in AOA! So glad Thor 3 will be coming! I'am going just because of Loki, good on Tom Hiddleston for making Loki someone we love to hate but can't help rooting for! Just saying!

Although I think the screaming scene is such a heart-breaking moment, I believe they cut it out from the movie because after Thor recruited Loki, he now seemed a little cocky and charming again. it wouldn't had any sense watching him under that kind of despair and pain, and later so cynical before Jane.

Are you forgetting that he hid the exact agony of which you speak up until a few seconds before that scene? Thor asked him to drop the illusion, until then he appeared deceptively collected. He's proficient at illusion, he'd be able to hide it well. They probably took out the scene for other reasons, if it was inappropriate for the plot they wouldn't have written it in the first place.

Rainy Jane I think they took it out to preserve the 'surprise' we have when Thor asks him to drop the illusion. Until then we didn't see his dispair, we discover it in the same time as Thor. Showing the screaming would have killed the surprise for us.

My dream is to go to Comic Con and just meet Tom Hiddleston, and just take a picture with him. He seems like a very good and genunine person, and also there's something intriguing about Loki, it's like you just feel very empathetic toward him. Also the way that Tom makes the character to appear, it's very impressive. He's a very good actor, and I love the chemistry and bromance between Thor and Loki. I wonder if Loki will ever get a love interest in the future movies.

Loki's wig (or wigs?) in that movie was amazing. Normally I always prefer real hair or extensions, but in this case, I'll make an exception... It's by far the most beautiful hair he's ever had. Both when it's combed back and when it's messy. Overall, the hair, costumes and make-up in TDW were really the best (also for Thor, with Chris using his real hair instead of a full wig, looking so much better than usual).

SPOILERS? I'm actually really disappointed 2:28 wasn't in the movie. I think adding a scene showing Loki's true anguish, other than just the dishevelment of his cell when Thor visits, would have made Frigga's death not only even more heart wrenching, but it would have shown that Loki does have a heart and he does actually care about others. I don't know. Huge disappointment for me, personally. Hopefully, maybe, we'll get a directors cut. Or it'll be a deleted scene on the DVD/BluRay.

The main reason I went to Watch Thor 2 was for Loki. I cared not for Jane, Thor, Frigga or Odin. The only time I cried was when I thought Loki was dead. When Frigga died, the sympathy I felt was for Loki. Not for Thor or Odin. Because after all they've done to him, they deserve no sympathy. I say this because I am a Loki supporter. So, whoever else sides with Thor and the others, this is my opinion. You don't have to come knocking down my door and go on and on about how Odin and Thor's actions were justified. I won't care.
