Hakai doesn't work on true immortals. This being beings that have immortality like Deadpool when he was cursed or zamasu's wish he made for immortality from the Super dragon balls. But Hakai will still hurt the opponent even if they tank it.

Yknow, Thor was nerfed. In the comics he has access to all of the Odin force, a portion of the power cosmic, and the flames of the phoenix force that he can access any time. It’s stacking multiversal power on top of his already multiversal power. If they used current comic Thor instead of his base stats, Vegeta would’ve been killed in seconds.

To be honest, everything that dragonball does is nothing compared to what comic book characters do on the daily. Marvel and even DC universes are vastly larger than Dragonball in size and amount. If both Vegeta and Thor destroy a part of their own universe, Thor has the upper hand in power since Marvel's universe is bigger in comparison. Same thing with speed, Thor has traveled from Asgard to Earth, across the edge of infinity. Vegeta has no speed feat like that whatsoever.

Hakai won’t work because Thor can resist existence erasure. Physically Thor is slightly stronger and much faster. Experience wise Thor has the edge as he has fought for thousands of years against a diverse group of villains with all types of abilities ranging from Magic, Mutant genes, mutated powers, elemental, telepathic, speed, teleportation, super strength, and powers beyond imagination or description. Vageta doesn’t have anything to beat that. As all of his experience is fighting foes with the same powers or at least use the same source of power as him.

Hakai doesn't work that way that a hammer can absorb it Hakai destroys stuff even if it's uru cause it's still a object Ultra ego form is a god of destruction form which is comparable to hella power and we see how he struggled in the mcu and have to take Loki hulk and the flames of sortarr and his odin force to even stand against hella . And do you expect Vegeta to loose to thor of all people Thor is not literally invincible and he is called a god by humans he is not a god like myths he is just a human with power as explained by himself in the movies. And in the comics he is depicted as all powerful in some and thrash in some even dedpool killed him multiple times it's all what the writer feels like it's not consistent. Vegeta is a Saiyan warrior elite and born with fighting instincts he is a walking breathing machine for destruction and he is now having the power of gods and you say he lost to thor seriously
