so what happens here is that Thor and Loki are brothers and princes of Asgard's royal family Thor is the eldest and next in line for the throne while Loki is the youngest and was expected to take a seat at the royal council as a high lord however, Loki secretly possessed magical abilities that his father, Odin, forced him to hide from every one under the threat that Loki would be severely persecuted if people found out about his abilities years passed and on the coming of age coronation day of the princes, Loki got really stressed out Thor, being irresponsible and annoying, pushed Loki's buttons too far and caused Loki to lash out and reveal his powers to all Loki, realizing that he can no longer control his magic, flees Asgard
