Thor has a suction and a discharge of 1 1/2". We designed this pump to be very robust, and for the safety and stability of the pump we designed a metal base that can be screwed to any surface. Thor also comes with a new more durable bronze impeller for the 1.5 and 2hp pumps. This impeller is for places where water isn't completely clean as it can withstand harsher water conditions containing debris and small rocks, considering that the water comes directly from a well.
1:10 What type of motor does Thor with?
Thor's motors come in 1, 1.5 and 2hp, with a CSA US-approved class F insulation system. It has NEMA standard ODP 56J motors for better cooling and thermal overload protection. The motors also have a permanent split capacitor without a centrifugal switch for all versions. For a much longer life span, they have a front bearing 6204 and full copper winding. They are pre-wired from the factory at 230v. The 1 and 1 1/2 versions are dual voltage with easy voltage conversion and the 2hp is 230v.
