Ragnarok has never been the death of all gods...seeing as Ragnarok is caused by Gods in actual mythology. Ragnarok was commonly referred to as the death of Odin. Marvel isn't following Norse mythology; it's just inspired by it. So it feels like you're wanting it to be something it never was to begin with?

Taika directed The Green Lantern which was awful. What DC could benefit from is the studio taking its continued interference out of production. They want what Marvel has, but aren't willing to build the foundation Marvel did and instead waited nearly a decade before jumping in.
