No, Sleipner, the eight-legged horse was bred non-inter-species by Loke (correctly) turning into an alluring mare, succesfully tempting a uniquely strong workhorse into the forrest, and he only came out of that forrest a year later, bringing little Sleipner with him. No serpent involved. Loke did that to prevent the builder who had that workhorse from finishing the wall on time, hence avoiding to have to bestow upon the builder Freya as a bride - as on other occasions, Freya was the prize routinely asked for and promised. The Gods never remembered to ask for her consent until she VERY FIRMLY did NOT give it and they had to find a way out. Next time it happened, Thor had to play the part of Freya at her wedding. Yes, I'd like to see that too. Loke never had intercourse with a snake, but with the woman Angrbotha he FATHERED a serpent, one who stretched around the whole world, the Midgaard worm. He also fathered a giant wolf, Fenris, and Hel. Oh, and according to RIck Riordan, he also gave birth to Alex Fierro. They'd be very welcome to the franchise, too.

Colbert's funny bones as an interviewer makes him enjoyable with almost any guest. But when comics come around or other celebrities who are funny in their personal life, just provides fun and relax content. Taika along with few others who you can see that didn't came there with thinking about what he is going to talk about ( we know Marvel press tour is always games and not talking about the movie) just pure entertainment by being him self. Colbert is just adding to the admiration and as a fan ask fun questions. It was like a comic bit. He said in the first minute when answering about the pattern of taking shots of the buts, that someone calls that a fetish, he calls it art. From there on it was just a fun ride. I don't even know why I am writing this long butt like comment when everyone else is already saying it was fun, but it was fun while typing it as well. So I do me. :)

This guy single-handedly saved the Thor franchise. After the disaster that were the first two movies
@philwill01232 жыл бұрын
Don't think the first two were disasters. I think they were too earnest and serious setting the scene for the avengers. By the time Ragnarok came along, there was more scope for humour with the MCU and we already knew the characters so there was more scope for fun.

If you know anything about Peter Jackson's first few films, he's probably done similar escapades to save money, as they were done on very small budgets too! His very first movie was shot on weekends, with friends acting in them, and Peter making the models and special effects!

Thor: Ragnarok was brilliant, as are most things that Taika Waiititi (ditty dum ditty do) does. I'm not sure how Tom Hiddleston would feel about playing a character who had been knocked up by a horse, but with Waititi directing, I'd certainly want to see how it went.
@honorsilverthorne72272 жыл бұрын
Well, Loki is bi.... Why not throw a little beastiality in there too 🤷

Tom Hiddleston is aware of the mythology he already said in an interview. I think he would surely be down for this idea
@Jumpoable2 жыл бұрын
Well that's already done & dusted before the first Thor movie. Odin's 8-legged horse Sleipnir is the creature Loki gave birth to, then gifted to Odin... O____o
@Котенок-рррр13 Жыл бұрын
Tom obviously wouldn't agree to play this.. Taika would just like to humiliate Loki once again with this
@lexslate2476 Жыл бұрын
@@Котенок-рррр13 It's a major part of the mythology upon which the Marvel character of Loki is based. I suspect that Tom would find it hilarious and the real problem would be getting through a take without giggling.

I have watched Temuera Morrison's interview and he too speaks like that. And not just the accent. Tem's voices is also soft and calm, when he is not threatening the galactic scum. So i just closed my eyes and imagined Korg doing that interview.
