The one thing that makes me sad about what happened to all of them is that Odin sent them in to capture Hela which was basically a death sentence. Odin should have known that Hela would kill most of them all. He knew how powerful she was but did so anyway. I wonder if they knew what they were flying into when facing Helena and her power. The more I learn about Odin through this marvel movie, the more of a bad ruler, and father he was. He banished Helena which in turn made her come back to kill even more people. Odin should have faced off against her rather than let others do the work. That’s just me though. Great scene. The digital effects, the music, the short scene to show how it all happened was beautifully done. Thanks for uploading.

I agree but to be fair we don't know the whole story. We know about Odin's past from Hela and partially Brunhilde and neither of them are impartial. I've read fanfics where Odin is an asshole but I've also read fanfics where Odin stayed in the palace because Hela's supporters were trying assassinate newborn Thor. But no matter what, you're correct that the scene is beauftiful.

I get Valkyrie might be a better, older fighter, but with his physical and magical skill combined he'd be leagues above her.

0:47 is inarguably one of the most iconic ly showcased scenes which speaks a thousand words. To be precise, it perfectly depicted how an army sent by god from heaven charges against the most terrifying and powerful goddess locked away in hell. I also liked how they had the orange yellow background which is basically light showing that the Valkyrie enters into a darkness realm which does not have light where Hela is locked away showing that she's been imprisoned in a realm that does not have light, and basically that's what hell looks like. Tha background score, that deep and dark sound they had in this scene when the Valkyrie charging is what made this scene look more terrifying. What a masterpiece.

We don't know that it's the same. He uses telepathy to get a brief look at the memories weighing down on Valkyrie the most. Sylvie is capable of far more than that, although we don't know how much Valkyrie's power of will factored in. We don't know enough about Loki's enchantment on Odin either. Cut content would indicate that maybe Loki hypnotized him into thinking he was a mortal. If I'm correct, which I may not be, then it's still different than Sylvie's ability, as she's in full control of her victim, and knows when the connection is severed. Loki had no idea that Odin broke free of his spell. We also don't know how he performed the spell or whether Odin was even awake when he cast it. And the the first time he enchanted a person appeared to be Selvig, but it appeared more so that he put words in Selvig's mouth than anything else. If he were so capable of mind control, there's no reason for Thanos to have given him the scepter.

We see that Hiddleston's Loki had some ability to influence what people will do, and some access to memories. We don't know the extent, at all. There's so much we don't know about each case. He might have already had the Mind Stone with Selvig, they cut most of the relevant details concerning Odin, and we can't gauge how powerful his telepathic link with Valkyrie was because he only saw the memories that were tormenting her. We have zero reason to believe he could manipulate people like sock puppets with no magical accessories. Now if you want to have a calm discussion, let me know. Lol they really nerfed Loki in this one, Loki is strong and smart enough to challenge the likes of Thor and not be beaten by some valkyrie,after all he is a son of a Giant not some ordinary Asgardian.
