@@MrLeothedrummer You do not understand the lore behind the hammer, Mjonir is a living thing inside of the hammer I could perhaps say it magical creature Thor is the conductor and Mjolnir is the emissor Thor has the lightings, Mjolnir casts them into reality that's why when Thor was removed of his powers the hammer gave them back except that in the movie hes a God and not a Human so basically Odin sealed Thor's power until he was worthy of helding Mjolnir again he cannot use his power (lighting) without Mjolnir and going back to that as mentioned Mjolnir is a magical creature whenever its destroyed you can just put it back in oh and if you mention about the Axe is also a magical weapon made for Thor if you saw infinity war you will understand the Elf MADE his Axe

@@Dissonancie What you're saying is straight from the comics. We don't know if the "storm" (actually an ancient god) trapped in Mjölnir is the case in MCU. We just know Mjölnir amplifies Thor's power in a concentrated way, like, it helps to focus his power.. which is inside of him, already. Comicbook canon doesn't apply in the MCU lore. Edit: But yes, when Odin put the worthy enchantment, he also stripped away Thor's powers and sealed them away in Mjölnir, for the time being.

Thor in the MCU is different from Thor in the comics, at least up until when I stopped reading them in the 1990s. MCU Thor speaks differently, is not as strong and is not quite as overwhelming. In the comics the other Avengers sometimes refer to him as Goldilocks because of his long blond hair and will sometimes feel compelled to challenge his strength, but they are also a bit in awe of him too (and Captain America as well). In the comics he actually does come across as a super-super human (a god) among mortals. In the MCU he's often a bit of a clown, but both versions are entertaining.

It isn't serialized. It's part of the plot. The opening to Dark World was serialized, as it was abstract from the main plot and did actually mention Thor venturing across the realms. Next, ''old Norse Mythology'' is redundant, because Norse Mythology is old by default. And lastly, in Norse Mythology Thor is a brutal warrior, Ragnarok is a devastating event that will lead to the dead of an entire cosmos, and there will be a giant war across the realms happening, with Loki as the main villain. No, sir, this does not feel anything like Norse Mythology.

For Thor to break out of those chains fairly easily is no easy feat. It takes around 10,000 pounds to break just the weakest link and I imagine 15,000 to 20,000 pounds to break even the strongest one. All in all Thor might not be in par with strength as the Man of Steel but he surely is super strong.

@@alphaxbruv2341 Only reason why Superman is stronger is because he’s kryptonian and they are 100 times stronger than any Asgardian. Asguardians are probably closer to being 10 to 15 times stronger than a human, but since Thor is the son of Odin he’s about 500 times stronger than a human. I believe when Thor is powered up he’s about 1,000 times stronger and unstoppable that even begins like Superman would think twice before messing with him. Plus Thor has been battle ready and fighting wars for thousands of years.

@@Nadie47 That’s a good point too, but Superman’s powers can’t be taken away unless you’ve got kryptonite or a deity somehow takes away his powers. In Thors worlds I doubt he’d find Kryptonite unless he somehow talked with Batman to help him out find it. Besides that the Man of Steel has a heart to never give up and he’d give Thor a good finishing fight before being torn to pieces. Thor is super strong even without his powers now imagine him all amped up with lighting and other powers.

I will be honest I don't think the fight between Thor and Hella would have been much different if he had stormbreaker. She appeared to be able to heal from anything while on Asgard so even if he hit her she would be fine.

They got Clancy Brown to play the part of Surtur because he portrayed Kurgan, I'm sure of it. And it makes a good but minor 'Buckaroo Banzai' reunion with Jeff Goldblum, even though their characters didn't meet.
