I didn’t even know about this ending, to be honest this one would’ve been ten times better than the one we got. And it would given us a way better explanation on how their relationship ended.

but Odin talking about loki... my heart... clenching, twisting, squeezing BREAKING and then thor saying 'my brother was right' oh gods... this ending was so nice!!!!

It s an alternate ending because is the first end , and loki is truly dead

I don't see what the issue was, perhaps run time, this explains to us that they are broken before endgame does, and we'd have a reason why, and I appreciate it's not a bitchy reason "your not here for me" and it's more so she believes his responsibilities are to great to spend time with her, I understand the argument, and it doesn't come across as ignorant, They could have blended the two ending scenes together say after they go through the portal and transition to "Odin" aka Loki speech to thor at the end

HOW??? Are the Thor editors TRYING to take out all the best scenes? They took this out only to replace it with the trash breakup in Love and Thunder. This ending is canon in my opinion.

Well in the end of thor 4 jane is in some kind of heaven with heindaal and others, so I guess maybe at the end of secret wars we'll see thor go there eventually and meet with Jane and get a happy ending to his character in the MCU.

Thor's break-up with Jane should've been in Age of Ultron. We never see her say anything about him after he leaves Earth, and we all know how Ragnarok handled their break-up.
