Having “son” or “sen” in a last name is very common in Scandinavia, but yeah it originally started as a “son of” thing. In Iceland for example they still use the old system which also includes dóttir which is “daughter of”.

For people who need help understanding, this is basline comic feats not thors actual strongest. Rune King Thor is his strongest form which is considered well above any of the feats Thor. The thor they talked about was purely main story feats for him. Dont take this wrong vegeta is strong but nearly all the avengers top forms in the comic series are well beyond any feat in dragon ball. Marvel and D.C. are both well beyond a lot of anime in terms of scaling
