Having someone hold the camera or mounting it steady would've REALLY helped, plus some spot lighting. Also, the whole process including the soldering should be added, since most of us are not comfortable with the soldering part. But, THANKS!

5 years later is a bit late for these critiques don't you think or are you simply a pathological whiner? If you don't know how to solder properly, I would suggest this type of restoration may not be for you...🤔🤣

Loved your video, I have this same turn table, can I use plyboard also to replace the base board. Norman Santos.

Yes you can. Don't think it much matters. I used mdf only because it is denser

@@navydiving Thanks for your reply. If you recall the name, I'd appreciate it. Can't seem to find those exact feet. Thanks again!

If you don't mind my asking, where did you find the feet?

Ebay - there are hundreds of audio spike feet to choose from - just type audio spike feet in the ebay search box to see the tip of the iceberg...🤔

Hi, did you make a new base board for a TD 160? If so, would you be so kind to send the measurements?
@navydiving3 жыл бұрын
I just used the old pressboard baseboard as my exact template. I used 3/8" mdf as the best for the task.😉

TD-165 and TD-160 use the identical size baseboard. Same size plinths😉
