I think this is probably my favorite review you've ever put out. Really, it was the SPOILER bit that made me fall in love with the game already. Just the way, you talked about how it made you feel and how you detailed the story beautifully and methodically was really amazing to me. Or even when you were talking about how the player is disconnected from a character, so in a way you aren't really playing anyone. Again, the way you described it and how it adds to the game and it's message was just great man. At the end of the review, I was just relating to a lot the feelings you were getting and it just made me fall in love with the game and this video. Also, that ending was totally cool, amazing, a mind fuck, and I love it. I love this video man. It's perfect. Thank you for it.

Not sure whether this was intentional or not, given the context, but in the third "ending" of the review - FSR actually takes place before this, not after.

Ok im sold. I love the art style and I fuck with the story. Is it digital only? I see the first game on shelves for cheap. Habe you seen Paranoid Agent, Ergo Proxy, Lain, or Gits? This game gives off that early 2000s existential cyberpunk anime vibe.

I bought the game like a week ago (absolutely loved it, like everything Suda has done) and one of the things that I waited the most for was to finally watch this video, and I have to say that after finishing the game, the ending of this video is perfect, great job as always (even if I'm two years late), you could say that it has "Big Dick" energy.

Just finished up The Silver Case something like half an hour ago, slowly processing what I just witnessed, and have been trying to figure out how long I should wait to jump into The 25th Ward and Flower,Sun,Rain. Yeah I think a pallet cleanser is in order.

@@celestialarchive4917 Actually just finished them up about a month ago so good timing on the comment. Excellent mind fuckery and near the top of my favorite games. Got even weirder when No More Heroes 3 kinda ties in as well.
@Crok4256 жыл бұрын
I actually enjoyed some parts of The 25th Ward a bit more over The Silver Case, although I kinda prefer the atmosphere and a bit of the colors of The Silver Case. At least it kept some things consistent this game to that of the original... conversations that are so profound that dwelss into the nonsensical, wondering what the hell is happening when something weird happens (going bald and your tie magically turning red) and Tokio Morishima changing a lot between art styles (seriously, the original art style makes him have a baby face, the art style of Placebo of the first game makes him look like a manly handsome dude and the art style of this game's Placebo makes him look like a middle aged dude with muscles.
@thorhighheels6 жыл бұрын
Yeah same. Eventhough parts of the plot in 25th ward were more outlandish, I actually found it easier to follow then the Silver Case. The stuff with Tokio Morishima messed me up especially. I took a long while before I would figure out that the baby faced dude from the last chapter was the old grumpy turtle guy from the Placebo story. Not to mention that the character writing in The Silver Case can feel a bit in consistent as well. People can go from super grump and serious to nice and vice versa. Sumio especially felt kinda inconsistent, though that was part of his arc admittedly. Compared to that, I felt like I had a pretty good grip on the events of The 25th Ward. Or at least I did by the end.
