Did you not realize while playing this game that you can "mix" healing items to make better ones and even ammunition to your gun? The resurrection healing item can mix into a one shot killing dino bulet.

What to do in action event thingies is explained in the manual. I started the game killing the dinos whenever possible so I really needed reviving.

I used to play this emulated on my original Xbox. I really enjoyed it a lot but never got to finish it, got stuck during what I assume was mid-to-late game. Lots of good memories though.

I haven't beat DC1 (I beat 2 though) yet, but I think I'm nearing the end. I found that tranqing dinos (especially since it takes 1 tranq) puts them down pretty quickly if I 100% HAVE TO BECAUSE THEY ARE IN MY WAY.

Tranq-darts are the easiest way to deal with Dinos since directly fighting them is tedious. The multiple endings to this game are as equally ridiculous to one another.

Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dino Crisis, Onimusha. Those four franchises pretty much had the same formula and visuals, but were great fun. None of them hold up as well today. But they're still classics.

Some inaccuracies over this review. The glaring one is that I'm pretty sure the manual would explain the danger moments and what gets pressed to deal with that. Also, I've seen playthroughs where you can just blatantly kill dinos. I know running is a legit method of handling it, but you can run and fight in a Resident Evil game, so you can do the same here.
