So some of you might be all like "bitch! i've seen this video b4" and to that I say: no, and also shut up. Basically, back in like, mid 2015, I made 3 videos over the time span of two weeks. Besides these already being part of the Slow Talking Era (deep highheels lore this is), I wasn't in a very good place at all during those two weeks, and so these videos ended up being shit. I released them at the time, but privated them about a month later. Considering I only had like a 300 subs back then, I doubt most of you actually have seem them, but truss mi, they bad. One of these was a review for Yakuza 2, which I remade a couple of months after, by cleaning up the script, re-recording the voice over, and then using the OG video to puzzle together a new one. Which went surprisingly well, and it's the same approach I took here, also being a video from that time. The third video however, was a review of Crash Bandicoot 3. Which was SO very very bad, that I remade the whole thing from scratch entirely. That one'll be out sooner or later too. But yeah, I figured I'd be transparent about this and stuff, so there you go. (also there is technically a 4th video from the Sad Slow Voice realm, being my Twin Snakes review, but I genuinely can't be arsed to redo that one, as I should've reviewed the PS1 version in the first place anyway. So it'll remain up on my channel for your viewing displeasure.)

Played this game on a demo disc in 2000/2001 and was so in love with it that I played the demo over and over, then after forgetting all about it I randomly found the actual game buried in a bargain bin at the checking aisle in Walmart of all places and literally got on my hands and knees to beg my mom to buy it since she was feeling stingy about games at that moment. I even remember the teen checkout clerk telling us it was a really great game lol.

My dad would always change between Shanna/Miranda and Lavitz/Albert and keep Rose in the party. When I did a 100% run and found that my best team was Rose, Dart, and Hisershel. Legend of Dragoon > FF7 Fyte mi. But seriously, different strokes for different blokes, but this is hands down my favorite JRPG of all time. Jack of all trades, master of none, but everything is good enough that I literally can't complain at all. My biggest complaint is the fanbase (Which I am a part of) who over-state the games greatness because it often feels understated. The games Hitler option really catapulted it into the upper echelons of gaming.

So I paused your video to comment. Not sure if you knew, but each character has a 7 hit addition, gained only by maxing out all your other additions (dart is the only one with 7 additions in total however) my recomendation is get good with 2 characters, and invest in an ultimate war God. Can be obtained fairly early if you grind on the world map (special enemies drop 100+ gp, meaning 100 yellow birds (that have like 4 hp) and its done. 3-4 hours once you have the turn blocker. Use simple additions to grind them, missing one causes attack to miss) and purchased in luskan (or whatever the first trade city shana goes down for) particularly lavitz and.. We'll you know.. Gust of wind dance is HARD (3 play throughs, maybe done it 5 times lol) If you're just good at the additions, no UWG needed, but if any characters give you trouble, it's a good answer

Always nice to watch a review of this game. Well, it was painfull to watch a lvl 2 dragoon at the third freaking CD. I mean, ok, i am veteran of this game, did it multiple time but damn, you have to make it on purpose to be a lvl 3 dragoon at this this point. What bothered me is two other point. ''Attack Item are op/more powerful than combo'' Nope. You just didn't fully explore the game. The ultimate combo is even stronger than a perfect in dragoon. Wich is... problematic, but still really powerful. And doing a 238% on a attack item is really great, like really really great. But using the combo Volcano at disk 3 is... weak. You can't compare a weak combo to a powerful item, it makes no sense. And come on, ok some of the combo are pretty hard but Death Dance (or whatever the hell is the name in english) is both the 4th combo and not that hard to use. That the second best combo for Dart and you can have it end 1st disc/Beginning 2 disc. But hey, you do what you want. And for the inventory, you can get an item that double it. Yep, 64 item. In the Japanese Version. Because fuck the European and American market, i guess. Still, a nice review.

BurntToast Burt I played both games when they were new but while Final Fantasy VII is my favourite game of all time,Legend of Dragoon as much as I enjoyed it is very generic story wise and the addition system gets old really quick. The magic system is broken as hell. And why the hell the two characters with the most voice acting are unnamed npc's? Chapter 2 Platinum Shadow is a slog with too much backtracking.Shana gets an accessory that makes her useful only if you get a single random encounter before you get to Millie Sissue and Miranda doesn't have any character development so to speak.

I never liked additions and it's what made me stop playing. Shame too because the story was kind of cool. For me, I just found it really taxing. Sure I could have just not pressed the prompts, but I guess I have an OCD where if it's demanded of me I will attempt. But usually when I sit down for a JRPG I'm looking to just mellow out and, for lack of a better term, just be lazy. I like rhythm games and stuff in the right game but forcing my brain to deal with timing when I'm playing a type of game traditionally known to have timing as one of the last things required... it just sort of lends itself to a taxing sort of gameplay for me. I understand why people like it, and it was an interesting idea, but the added stimuli doesn't do much for me and may as well be a QTE of which I've also never been a fan.

as a fan boy of this magnificent game, if you didn't take the time to master every addition to the final addition and the final addition itself for every character, i don't respect you, if you in other playthroughs master each addition for each character at the moon area where you fight micheal, rose's dragon, where an average enemy spawn is more powerful and gives much more exp, which is a Tyrannosaurus rex and therefore has more hp, allowing you to master all these additions, if you then PRE-select what 3 characters you want to move through the game with, with any post playthrough, you will find, that the stats of each character and the number of additions they need to get to the master addition perfectly fits, to the end of the game, making it, with about 95% perfectly executed additions throughout the game, you will always end the game, fighting the final boss, with perfect master additions making you beat, the fucking, shit out of him, with the exception of Darts crush dance which you will play though mastered for a time before you get madness hero as future additions are awarded on base level ups, not mastering additions or dragoon level, making the progression of strength between any 3 chosen characters, perfect in alignment to the end of the game, which means the game makers calculated this shit fucking perfectly, there is NO excuse for NOT mastering all additions, in at least ONE game play, NO, FUCKING, EXCUSE!
