I'm supreme, my 5 are all supreme/global. MM has been nothing but R8 cheese, so we just bought P90's on buy rounds to counter 'gamble'...it reks the R8, it's an effective hard counter because just like them we could sprint, shoot, jump etc. That's not a defence of it being in the game, it absolutely shouldn't be. So what we have now are rifles that aren't worth the investment, awps that aren't fit for the risk/reward economy and pistols that are countered best with overpowered smg's ON BUY ROUNDS...we're cod now bois, let's sign an exclusivity deal with MLG and be done with it. That's not even a dig at CoD, I play CoD for fun, but I play CS to feel challenged and be rewarded for practise and development of my skills. You might say "well you should have checked shadow or molly'd or other utility"...we did...3 of them stacked it...I know it will get nerfed, I'm not a rabid teenage 'fan'. Small thing to note Thorin. The R8 can one shot TO THE STOMACH from ANY range in the current map pool (2350 units). You can actually OUT DUEL AN AWP if you can aim for the stomach. Let me start off with pistol rounds. The price is $850 so you can't buy it on pistol rounds well you can buy the R8 on pistol rounds. Like that strat ages ago were you rush to get a kill then run back to spawn and buy mac 10 or mp9. For instance, the day it came out I was on the terrorists and I rushed long and got a one tap and I ran back to spawn and got an R8. Now the first fire mode is pretty much 100% accurate when running or jumping. It is an insta kill to the stomach. Has pretty much exact stats for the awp, but at a significantly cheaper price. It is almost like Valve didn't even test out this gun and this update alone (12-08-2015) makes it look like they don't give a shit about their fans. No one wanted this update. People wanted the new Nuke. Not fucking implementing Steam Sales for the AWP. Not to mention it can penetrate so many materials and retain a lot of damage. This gun alone ruins the entire game. Why use rifles? Why save? The revolver basically tells you to throw everything you have learned about CS such as, don't run and gun, don't jump shoot, aim for the head out the window. Also, think about how this affects lower skilled players. This is rewarding them for not having proper crosshair placement, learning the economy, learning how to aim, learning proper movement. Granted I had a lot of fun the first comp game I had with it, but its absolutely asinine. I find myself being able to do 1v3, 1v4, or even a 1v5 clutch with this because the pros outweigh the cons and the fact I could just rebuy all of this the next round regardless of if I win or not. This makes no sense at all. Surely Valve would of put a little more thought into what they are adding into the game that is beloved by many. Sorry this was so long I just can't express how annoyed and disappointed I am in Valve.

Valve needs to fix their shit soon because already the R8 has become the primary weapon for matchmaking. This game shouldn't even exist in the pro scene. This gun is a joke. What's even worse is that valve has already released skins for it, so they cant remove it from the game or anything. Valve is just ruining professional counter strike. This is the first update that i've seen for CSGO that has been a complete turn off. What's ridiculous is that, i'm an awper, and on rounds that should be ecos or force buys, I cant peak mid because of the spam down mid of revolvers. ESEA Finals is in 1 day and i can only imagine that Olof and JW are gonna be buying this gun every round just to fuck with people.

you can pre charge the revovler so you dont have to hold down fire to shoot hold the left click and once the hamer is all the way back hold "R" (must have full clip) and it holds the hammer back you keep your accuracy and can now instat fire acuratly how ever you have to hold "R" and your movement is slowed and one movement finger is occupied but if your watching a corner its op just like the rest of the gun so now its even a gun that can watch corners well valve just... why?

I agree with the pistol statement to an extent. I've hit just plain stupid shots running with a Five-Seven, but for an eco/force to be successful (in a sense of taking away guns/actually winning the round) you need to be mobile. Whether that is done via full-on sprinting or strafing more than normal; a rifle(r) will tear you to pieces if given the opportunity. The major problem I have which you mentioned (thank god you did) is the nerf to the Glock. No matter the strategy, nine times out of ten a standing USP-S/P2K shot will LAND and do MORE damage than its Glock counter-part. Where does this leave T pistol rounds in regards to mobility and strength utilization? > Buy P250 (which has more power and range) get 3-4 shot by USP-S, let alone aim punched. > Buy Glock (which has been nerfed fairly heavily) and die before even having a chance. Edit: For me to be content, repair the Glock/USP-S/P2K and fix the rifles.

Adding the revolver could be a finance move by Valve. I mean with the case as well for the skins, people are going to be using the revolver a lot and I can imagine the price for the revolver skins being very high (a bit like how the M4A1-S skin prices went down after it was updated) as people will be selling these skins on the market (and of course Valve get their cut of every purchase) and then when they've made as much as they want, they nerf it and then it will be used less and thus people will want to sell the skin. That's just my thoughts anyway.

The fake is a strategy to secure a site, not to guarantee a round by having the CT's say "fuck it, 4 man save". The extra time incites the CT's to actually engage and try to take the site back. Which, for the record, is what people tune in for, guns being fired, not being saved. The extra time also allows for more clutches to occur, another thing better for the viewers.

Really good video and the point about pauses was spot on I played Dota for 2 years and the ability to pause in that game is abused constantly. Enemy team just killed all the players on your team? Every one of them spams pause in order to get a free chance to smack talk This kind of thing may start happening in cs:go now in addition to the points you made as well

Honestly i never liked how thoorin acts on lans but I have to say that he has such a good understanding of the game its impressive. I love cs but this update (definately together with tagging, awp nerf, fckng pistols) made me for the first time ever deinstall a cs game. I actually deinstalled go and played css. Its such an improvement :/

Your point on the end about evolution: While I agree with the your definition, in a realistic scenario, things will not ending up evolving to a worse state, for survival of the strongest. If a change like that decreases the mobility, lifespan, ability to gather essential nourishment, find mates, or produce offspring, it will probably not get worse in evolution. And if it does, another aspect will be improved so that it counter-acts that change. It's like properly buffing and nerfing certain weapons in the game. However, I totally understand your point.

You missed the fact that sloth also stated "If the shot hits the stomach it will one shot kill at just about any feasible range (2350 Units). You are not limited to a headshot over 560 units, if you hit the stomach you will also one shot people, IE why people are getting one shot with armor from T spawn crossing d2 doors without being headshot.

Indeed, punishing shooting while moving is the correct direction to move in. However, that is only one side of the current problem. The other side is accuracy while standing still. It's good to nerf accuracy while moving, but accuracy while stationary needs to be buffed as well. Furthermore, although Valve does change these values, I feel they are usually too conservative in their changes to the values; it's difficult to even tell if there is a difference for most of these patches which claim to make these changes. In summary, I feel Valve should buff first bullet accuracy while stationary, decrease recovery time while stationary, and perform the inverse for accuracy while moving. Making changes where the values are modified by like ~1% is not enough. We're still far off competitive values. These values may need to change as much as 50% (both buffs and nerfs).

Dude but the first bullet accuracy actually did not get changed. tapping is only affected from the second bullet onwards :)
