The choking is weird since you can't say they don't have skill or experience. Personally I think it's psychological choke where they don't know what to do when they win more than they think they should have. I think it's a confidence thing too. They might completely be super shy or they're just bad in high stress situations.

SMaRk its weird because a player like device is pure skill/talent wise in the top 10 players of the world imo (not to say that being mentally tough/calm/clutch isnt a very very improtant part of a player skill set but just regarding stuff like aim etc.), but when the games get bigger the worse he becomes. it is just a mental thing, they choked a couple of times and now its gotten a hold of them mentally, somehow they should just be able to overcome it, how, only they can do/know that. that said even though its weird, because they have the skill and the experience, but u still see it all the time in regular sports and everyday life in general.

We've actually seen a couple online matches recently where TSM has actually been doing what you're saying here and having those hard hitting, fast T rounds (recent win against VP on inferno comes to mind). They were bo1 matches however and no pressure of the live audience and LAN setting, which actually fully supports your argument. We also saw huge games from xyp9x and karrigan, which we know isn't going to happen on a consistent basis.

to say they are choking implies that they are potentially a better team then the teams they lose to. Are they choking? or are they not at the calibre of the level of the teams they lose to they don't have a consistent STAR player. Although I do feel this year they could make a few finals and maybe(I predict) a major win this year now that the new roster seems to have hit a groove, and with the new updates of awp nerfing working in their benefit.

Absolutely agree with you Thoorin. You were fucking hilarious at StarLadder. Don't worry anout what the other casters and commentators say, do you own thing. Gotta say that you ended all you videos like to a brick wall until this point. Now that theres a thank you at the end it makes the video a bit better. Can you do a quick video about the newest "nerf"-update. On youtube WarOwl has got a great video about it. Can you tell your opinion on all these sniper nerfs and gun nerfs. It seems like every time they nerf something a new thing comes up and it already was in the fucking game all the time, I don't understand it... And when they nerf the guns they do it wrong. Tech-9 is famous nowadays with it's runandgun capabilities. Valve should have increased running accuracy instead of magazine size. But yeah, that's just me ranting. I would be thrilled to hear your opinion on these nerf-patches. Guys give this comment a like if you wan't to see a video on nerfs and updates etc, maybe Thoorin reads the comments :3

I have never heard any of the players rage in the POV streams. The only thing I've noticed is that karrigan fades from being the loudest player to like a sqeaking mice, and a lot of the things that device does is called by karrigan.

Well at least this time around Device did his job on CPH Games final against VP. Cajun did alright, but everyone else specially dupreeh did nothing. I've also noticed that Device doesn't drink energy drinks anymore which is a really good thing since caffeine is just going to increase your anxiety even more. Everyone else in there should tune it down a bit too.

Skill wise they are a great team they have opportunities to win almost every game but choke ie them loosing to tsm in the group stage of esl they had tons of opportunities to win that game but failed at almost every one of them.

Hrm peddling the fantasy CS:GO thing at the end doesn't seem very you, it came off kinda forced and overdone. I dunno if there might be a better way to do it, such as just like an image ad down the bottom and then you yourself only have to say a few words or something. Caus yeah part of the appeal of you and your stuff, to me at least, has always been the blunt honesty aspect, coupled with insightful analysis. Whereas trying to hype and sell something is often the opposite flavour of that haha. Obv having the sponsor is good, and with that comes the need to sell them a bit, but yeah as a viewer I just personally found it kind of alienating to suddenly have thooorin reduced to trying to convince me to try some damned fantasy league crap in this awkward tacked on the end manner.
