Thorpedo Anna is a cut above the 3yr old fillies & has earned a shot @ colts. McPeek would actually surprise most if he didn't make the move w/ her in the Travers. She'd likely need a career best 2 win tho.

No, she should not run. The only reason to run her would be to make her Champion 3 year old and it just does not seem enough incentive when she is already a lock for 3 year old filly horse of the year. The 3 year old male division is tougher than you are giving credit. She does not want to knock heads with Dornoch in the stretch. The speed figures do not measure heart or desire or how a horse will react when they are looked in the eye. Thorpedo Anna is not Zenyatta or Rachel Alexander … it is my belief she will have all she can handle with Ways and Means the next time they meet.

JK, You are one stubborn dude. Horses do not run Breyers. The numbers are assigned for their performances. Beyers have in the past been change with no changes to the race data. Further, a different number can be assigned by Equibase, Brisnet, Timeform HRN etc., for the same performance. Can a horse run a different speed figure for the same race? The above clearly indicates horses do not run Beyers and/or any speed figure. One is neither too old nor arrogant to be learn. The more you keep embarrassing yourself with this declaration the more your stocks will go down. There are acceptable errors and there are avoidable errors. You are a university grad and should be capable of making the distinction.

im still complaining about my preakness future bet. i had all others at 24to1. the only reason i bet it was because of thorpedo anna. this was before her oaks win. after the oaks i was ultra confident that she would win the preakness. then with my luck mystic dan won the derby. of course mcpeek wasn't going to beat his derby winner in the preakness with his other horse.
