This is how you demo a boost pedal. Dual boost is exactly what I'm looking for (I even commission a DIY EP Boost + Zvex SHO in one box, and I'm currently using that) as dual boost + dual channel amp/amp sim is a great minimalist setup that lets me get a lot of sounds out of the amp. I was surprised how many reviewers showcased a mostly clean, mostly high-ish headroom amp in their Heavy Water videos. They could've just turned the volume on their amp higher, and it would've worked just as well. Maybe even better, since slamming a bunch of signal into a preamp of even a high headroom amp can make it sound a bit grainy, in not necessarily a pleasant way. Anyway, thanks for making my decision to buy the pedal a lot easier.
