Yeah! As a side note, as someone who learned English, it is easier for me to say librarian right than library. Because in librarian, both 'r''s is emphasized, so it's easy to nail it. But in library, the first 'r' is not emphasized, and it is squished between two emphasized syllables, it's really hard to say the 'r' right without being sounding weird, and if I am not careful enough, it's easy to "skip" the r if I am tongue tied.

I was a huge bookworm and mispronounced a lot of words because I read them before I heard them so this hurts my soul. Some of them are actually words I used to mispronounce, but some of them are just painful 😅

Yeah, I'm told that mispronunciation is usually a sign that someone learned a word from reading, and thus might not be that worthy of disrespect. (though then again, a few of the things said in the skit probably aren't from this kind of misconception, I don't see anyone seeing the word "library" and reading it as 'libary".

It’s like pronouncing Feb(r)uary with the R sound. It sounds odd to me. The one I’m OCD about is “exspecially” and excape My mother in law says house pital and heela copter. The heala copter landed on the roof of the house pital. Afterwords we went to the rest ernt. Nails on a chalkboard. Exspecially from her. Cause there’s no excape!

I'm not a mother tongue (you can guess it from my name), coukd you help me? I'm struggling because it seems to me the two terms are used without any rule by native speakers. I would say that "I" is used when the speaker is the subject of the sentence, while "me" when the speaker is thebdirect objective or part of a prepositional phrase. What about the nominal predicate?

As for your actual point, I don't see anything I would add (apart from the "you and I"/"you and me" debate; there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus about what happens with conjunctions like and). As-kuh-tuh. I found out lots of people have trouble with the mouth movements required to enunciate s-kuh-tuh. They literally can't do it, get frustrated and say "AXED! You know what I mean!"

Finally, someone calls them out! I eckspecially liked watching this one while sipping an eckspresso. My mother was one of those who "worshed" clothes in the "worshing machine". We lived in Worshington State, back in the 1960s, but I can find no such state on the maps today. Still, there are words that no one on Earth knows how to pronounce, like "Hoppes", the name of the company that makes gun cleaning products.

I think you are just speaking Philly being that I grew up in that area. It's basically it's own dialect of mispronunciation here. That is why we pronounce the Eagles as Iggles here. We sometimes even write it in the paper as the Iggles to match our pronunciation. We say Warder or Wooder for Water. It can drive many people mad as the list goes on how we say most things different lol.
