Been having a hell of a time with mites recently and I almost never get them. These ones are stubborn. Tried all the breeder tricks, all the natural stuff, no luck. Ok to this method!

Ive heard everything from dont leave these in for more than a few hours max to your suggestion of 10 days to leave these in. Are you really doing 10 days at a time?

What do you do for humidity during the 5 days?

I use it works great some they dont sell it in some states i ordered it iff Amazon. Dont know how haven't had them in a while all the sudden my 1 baby retic was laying in her bowl dam mites i checked all the others nothing i moved her up stairs so far so good. Some snakes can't handle it like rainbow boas you have to be careful with them. I had a problem with them. I heard 7 dust is good to use they use it in Tarantula Enclosures i never tried it so i can't comment on it. I use to use the old school method listerine 50/50 with water to soak them. Theres lots of ways but the hot shot works every time. I use prevent a mite it has worked for me i spray it around the bottom of the racks on the floor hoping if they crawl through it they'll die before spreading to the other racks.

This stuff will kill others bugs too. I think it’s bad to inhale for longer then 4 hours.

I use 1 bottle of nix mixed with a gallon of water. Works great kills mites and the eggs 👍🏻

So if I have one snake and I'm not around any other reptiles and neither is my snake I won't get mights right

That is incorrect. It is possible to get them from substrate, rodents and I'm guessing a Bastard Mite Gremlin that comes around at night just to ruin your day.
