And he’s not the original Kendrick Lamar he’s a evil actor they replace in all of these guys they don’t sell out to the Saudis, want to make America Muslim, the Muslim states that Christ is not the son of God they say that he is a profit only, and that Mary is equivalent to Muhammad, and that Muhammad is the last prophet, he’s the false prophet.The antichrist been here for 1100 years his days are numbered he’s going to reveal himself, don’t be deceived people be prepared. but you have to find out for yourselves you see a lot of people don’t know what Muslims teach blasphemy about Christ. And they don’t talk about how their religion is gonna come to an end just as their false prophet said it would, prophet Muhammad says The antichrist is Ethiopian,They’ve already been terrorizing the world for God knows how long.

We ain’t identical with god just because we were created in the image of god. God himself never ever revealed his true image on any level. God reveals just as much from himself like we human being can handle. This is whole different meaning. So again if they judge you they only judge you.

And here's the context of "They judge you, they judge Christ" Matthew Ch. 25: 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ So the actual context of the phrase is that Christ manifests himself in many ways, and when dealing with the next person you could in fact be dealing with Jesus Himself unknowingly... So it's a test of character somehow...

This was really good. Nailed a lot of things that flies over heads. Kendrick is finding God on his own path, and that path happens to deviate from standard Christianity; Does that mean he's on the wrong path? On the topic of Christian Mysticism and whether or not it is blasphemous, it's *crucial* to consider this: There are uncontacted tribes (people with 0 contact with the outside world, also known as 4th world tribes, they still are in the stone age this very moment) who are born, grow up, and die without access to any of the religious scriptures and belief systems that we in the West deem essential to salvation. Likewise, hundreds of years ago, people grew up in Christian Mystic monasteries and were delivered a conception of Christianity vastly different from the ones that most of us get, with the idea that those teachings would lead them to eternal salvation. Were those uncontacted tribes born to just die and be sent to eternal punishment? Were Christian Mystics of the past brought up on teachings that wouldn't save them? How about the Christian teachings of 2022, how do we know those are the "right ones" that will lead believers to eternal salvation? How do we know uncontacted tribes don't have a grasp on God that is just as valid if not more? How do we know Christian Mystics are on the wrong path? How about people born with severe disabilities that limit their ability to read, learn, and comprehend a Bible or any other religious scripture, are they born just to die and be doomed to eternal punishment? Are people who are born without access to what Christianity says is the path to salvation doomed forever? To say the path to God is onefold (only through standard Christianity) means many groups are born just to be sent to hell. It is my honest view that Christianity is just one lens, and not the only true lens. To say it is the only true lens to find God is to say that vast groups of people who never would've had a chance to be introduced to Christianity die with no chance of salvation. That just seems wrong to me. At the end of the day, God is not confined to one religion. Any religion/spiritual system/or even lack of one like with atheists, as long as they try to live up to love and empathy, then they are moving in alignment with God, no ifs ands or buts. God is found in religious scripture and outside of it. If God is only found in one book, then that is not the One True God, but an entity belonging to a belief system. God is all-pervasive, so he is *everywhere*, not just in the Bible. It's impossible to properly analyze the crown, why he chose to wear it, and the album as a whole, without understanding Eckhart's perspective, Kendrick's spiritual journey + struggles, and his entire discography being about duality (Good Kid, Maad City, u/i on TPAB, Damn's "wickedness or weakness?", MMBS's mirror dynamic, all of those 4 albums telling a chronological story (one example: the end question of Mortal Man on TPAB is the entire subject matter of Damn), and sooooooooo many other examples). & s/o to you for pointing out that the story of the album isn't over, we're watching the album unfold this very moment, and I expect that a lot of stuff will make more sense once the tour starts and if he starts doing interviews. There's a lot of deep meanings to the album and what he's doing, and the full picture is still coming into focus. Kendrick is trying to do something very important. Or, more accurately, something extremely important is being done through him.

Interesting read. As you said, living in love and empathy is essential. That’s what Christ taught, and I believe he was the first to make that the dominant teaching of a religion. Love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor. What’s so difficult to understand about that? Wouldn’t the world be an awesome place if everyone lived by these intentions? Instead we live in a world where sin is the norm and believing in a higher power is ignorance. And looks what’s happening now… anyway I do think it’s worth reading the Bible, the first book ever created and the foundation of western life and thinking. Better to know the teaching and beliefs of your enemy before you start attacking them… Good luck in your life and God bless

As someone who was raised in Judeo-Christian beliefs and took a deeper dive into what scripture means I can say that Kendrick is taking the “Christian mysticism” side of new age theory that Eckhart is implying. Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing! False prophets will do anything to either CLAIM to be Christ, or to DOWNPLAY everything Christ was. Jesus was obviously more than a prophet, he’s EVERYTHING that is Godly from the very title of God itself. Kendrick is entering philosophies that use Christ as a reference but don’t fully revere his being. Downplaying what it truly means to put your faith and walk with him

Christ bleeds not because he is not prefect, but because he carries everyone's sin upon him. He is the saviour. The crown of thorns is such a beautiful metaphor for how Christ was taking mission not as an elite, royal king surrounded with pleasure and power, but a man anointed to serve. It juxtaposes the expectation that people had assuming Christ was to come in glory, splendour with the most glorious crown to validate him. I think Kendrick's version of the crown is similar to Kanye's. Men who are gifted with power, fame are anointed into becoming role models just like Christ. Just as any other human, they love the power, the pleasure, the attention, but they struggle with how they should use it. The duality of trying to save yourself and also playing a role in helping others is a big issue they face. Kendrick's crown is made of diamonds to present his hard work and journey to be called king. The thorns however torment him with the pressure & responsibility that his followers and fans have placed on him. "He can't please everybody" hence the crown is heavy on those who wear it. His answer to the problem is to declare to his followers that he has problems, just like them, he is looking for answers. Each to their own, the only thing man can do at this point is to serve themselves and become the saviour they are looking for.
@Honeybee-fi2xi2 жыл бұрын
NO MAN ON EARTH has any business wearing a crown of thorns on they're head, regardless of the reasons. The lack of the fear of God is clear in Kendrick Lamar and his followers and God continues to show His mercy to him and his followers despite the complete disregard for the extent to which God confirmed salvation He promised from the very beginning (even before the creation of the world) for death-deserving sinners like us using those very thorns you people think can make metaphors out of. The basis of the Gospel has clearly not been taught to you or Kendrick and his followers, because if so, you would have never defended such mockery. I'll pray for you❤️
@rthur.2 жыл бұрын
@@Honeybee-fi2xi I am not defending Kendrick, rather expressing my thoughts on his faith. A man who claims Christ as a prophet is definitely Muslims. Islamic faith believes in God as one entity. Apparently, worshipping Christ in Islam is strictly forbidden. So their views on the cross and thorns are very different from us Christians. I don't think there is a biblical verse that forbids people from using the crown. I think it's more of a principle not to imitate Godly symbolism, especially if you don't understand it fully. Our mission as Christians is to preach God's word, commandments and his plans for salvation. "The basis of the Gospel has clearly not been taught to you" - choose your words carefully, I believe all Christians are still learning and digest God's word every day. Your Knowledge should be used to help people and not judge them. Don't be like the Pharisees. This comment is not to defend Kendrick, rather show the immense pressure he is in. A lot of these celebrities usually loss their original faith at the highest point of fame because religious advice comes from anywhere, especially for a man going through difficulties in his life and looking for answers
@lulukazhila63092 жыл бұрын
@@rthur. I don't what kind of Christian you are that sounds ignorant of scripture, clearly you know nothing about doctrine nor the basis of the gospel. Because if you were how can you even begin to attempt to defend this? By the way the Pharisee judgment argument is for the christian that's forever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. But yet again not everyone who says they are a Christian is one. Maybe that's it. I don't spend my time talking about the Quran like I'm Islamic because I'm not. So how can I attempt to defend Islam if I don't understand it? If I don't know the basis of its doctrine or its scriptures? So your last paragraph is condoning this nonsense but yet you have the nerve to put the pharisee judgment disclaimer right before it. Who are you tryna fool? Talking about as Christians we're all learning? Then you're talking about metaphors? Huh? This is performance is blasphemous. There's no gray area. No partiality. You cannot mix the holy with the profane. The Bible gospel does not promote the doctrine of duality. That's an anti-christ doctrine. Look it up. Light and dark do not mix.

To represent him as an imperfect, prophet would be incorrect because Jesus was perfect and was our Savior unlike other people that we might idolize or think can save us. If Christ was merely a "good teacher" (aka just a man), as the man was reducing him to, then he wouldn't be good. Christ baited people into figuring things out like this through conversation more than once. Another example is when he referred to a canaanite woman as a "dog." He wasn't himself calling her that. He wanted her to work out a deeper understanding. Here's a quick description from gotquestions: Jesus frequently tested people to prove their intentions, often through response questions or challenges (see John 4:16-18; and 4:50-53). His response to the Canaanite woman is similar. In testing her, Jesus declined her request and explained that she had no legitimate expectation of His help. The woman, however, lived out the principle Jesus Himself taught in the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8). Her response proved that she understood fully what Jesus was saying, yet had enough conviction to ask anyway (Matthew 15:27). Jesus acknowledged her faith-calling it “great”-and granted her request (Matthew 15:28).

But the deeper meaning still offends Christians because if he's implying Jesus is imperfect, then could an imperfect man really die for our sins? He's taken himself and others off of their pedestal and is saying, like Jesus we too are imperfect. The reason why Christians are offended is because whether for the sake of art or music or some sort of message he's equating his personal struggles and likeness to that of Christ, what he is doing is blasphemous. A glamourized crown of thorns? Fake blood? I am not your saviour? Jesus was given that crown of thorns and mocked as the king of the Jews Kendrick is in front of his fans being praised and paid for his 'performance', Jesus ACTUALLY bled and sacrificed his life so that we might live, Jesus IS our saviour and lastly Jesus IS perfect and without sin! Us humans are not perfect and we should all strive to be like Christ but not by saying we are him or putting ourselves on the same level as him. Remember the Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. (I don't know if kendrick is Christian or not but Christians believe Jesus was the son of God sooo and not a prophet so I'm guessing not.....)
@sarahbarry12732 жыл бұрын
Maybe you did not understand the real meaning of the cross, the crown of torn because Christ carried so much pain when he was carrying the cross for our sins and do you know that the crown of torn that that put around his head was being put so deep into his head that blood covers his face and so that the people during that time could not recognised his faced even his own mother. He was perfect but he died for our sins . And that I can say that its mocking to Jesus and his name and the sacrifice he had to die for the sake of us to be save. The third commandment says that thou shall not call the name of the lord in vain.

Some things shouldn’t touched. He took such a a sacred symbolism and used it in his “art” but it really is one of the most narcissistic stage I’ve ever seen because he is taking the greatest portrait of sacrifice to promote himself and push his agenda. Kendrick Lamar can send the same message w/o tainting such an sacred image especially to his audience that don’t giv a shit about Christianity like u ppl, like u, and majority of other think that it is ok, but what he did was straight up disrespectful. Seriously, he is putting ketchup on his face with Tiffany co thorn crown. People who think it is okay don’t know the gravity of what Jesus did when he was on the cross. It is such a a sacred thing. Like I really don’t understand. If he was dressing up as Muhammed and comparing himself to Muhammad, people would be freaking out. Like seriously i usually don’t get offended, but his actions made me sick because of his ignorant.

I wasn’t going to comment on this But as a man of deep faith who is also IMMENSELY Flawed in his path, Walk With the Almighty. I can and to degree see what Kendrick is expressing, Issue is they’re a few things within his album that show a CLEAR Contrast between the Man who Proclaimed Jesus Of Nazareth as the Messiah in “How much a dollar cost off TPAB” to a man speaking on praying to trees, crystals, and other “New age” analogies and teachings. (Which in biblical context is utter blasphemy) ALSO His reverence for a man who denies JESUS CHRISTS DIETY cc Elkhart toole, who in Wikipedia is credited as his spiritual adviser, a man who denies The divinity of Christ (which IS also used as a way in the New Testament to detect the anti christ) This is the issue I notice no one is speaking on. Not to mention his equation of being gay, trans to what the trans Atlantic slave trade did. J Edgar Hoover was a closeted gay man, Chairman Fred Hampton was a black freedom fighter, notice their endings??? I hope and Pray God of heaven removes the scales on Mr Lamar’s eyes, it’s evident he went looking to the book of Enoch for answers, when the Bible, the real word of God was right there

Completely wrong. Jesus Christ is PERFECT. He represents the perfect sacrifice for our imperfections. And by His sacrifice, and our acknowledgement, acceptance of His sacrifice we are made perfect in God's eyes. We are the imperfect. Jesus suffered for our imperfection. The cross represents the that which is Holy being used for that which is Evil, but by Christ sacrifice it is reinstated to perfection, diviness. Kendrick is off the path here, and Tolle, though he has some very true and enlightening thoughts, he is off the path. Jesus Christ is probably the most described in the bible, I dont understand how so many popular/known figures misunderstood. Do they read the bible, just read it man. He is more than a prophet, and he wants to show us what makes Him who He is, and if we follow in His footsteps, we can be Christlike, we were made in God's image but we are consumed with the flesh, that which dies, instead of that which lives forever. Yes when he bleeds on the cross it shows he is 'flesh' just like us, but what happens after it is to show us that He is Lord, He has conquered death with all the sins of man. The flesh suffers in the victory of the spirit

The world LOVES Kendrick Lamar! The world hated Christ. Most people, especially "Christians", would hate Christ if He showed up today instead of two thousand years ago. That said, I do enjoy his music, but this seems like a very subtle self righteous attempt for him to appear as meek when his ego is actually THROUGH THE ROOF! What he is doing is an expression of what Jesus did, you could say it's "shock factor esk" but that's music and acting for ya in 2022. What matters is where the performers heart is and we can see Kendricks is with God.

This is so beautifully said. Kendrick is for everything Jesus stood for - love, unity, truth and forgiveness. None of Jesus's actual words or actions swayed from this ever and that's the truth. The religion of Christianity, as man created it, unfortunately has alot of "us against them" added into it which is in total opposition of what Christ stood for. Christ didn't create the religion of Christianity, people did. Thank you Kendrick for your example of love, unity, truth and forgiveness that you show through your music. He is doing the total opposite of what Jesus did on the cross. Only people in weak faith will see what he did as "art" or "maturity". God is SACRED. you cannot mix the sacred with the profane. People are forgetting this man dressed as Jesus Christ while singing profanity. I've read so much comments yet none addressed this fact. The sacred and the profane DO NOT mix. You are either one of them. The dark rulers of Hollywood would NEVER approved of him praising Jesus on stage without making him look "crazy like Kanye West". They all in on it and know it is a form of idolatry, blasphemy, a form of mockery and ridiculing God. How about daBay on the cross? How about Lil Dicky on the cross, how about Billie Ilish saying she wants the devil on her team how about Kendrick Lamar dressed as Christ on stage?how about demi lovato dressing highly sexual and being tied up on the cross! U see they all from the same flock leading the blinds astray. So my guess is you still think all those names arw doing the work of Christ huh? The true commision amd saving souls?? True Christians know that these are all satanic practices in plain sight. How can you say Kenrick is everything Jesus stood for this honestly makes me want to cry how lost people are. Kenrick Lamar's crown of thorn was GLAMAROUS!!it contained 8,000 diamonds in it. Jesus Crown of thorns was anything BUT GLAMAROUS!!and bent and twisted to tear into his skin and touched his skull! "How "you say?? Nobody was cheering on Christ, he was dying for humanity all alone on his cross, everybody was praising on Kendrick Lamar. Jesus wasn't being praise. My man you really need to get into the word of God everyday and stop looking up to these people. I pray for you brother. I’m not too sure about this creator’s biblical interpretation of Christ as “imperfect.” His human form served a distinct purpose of redemption, but He, in fact, was sinless. And to point, I’m seriously having a hard time getting through this particular record by Kendrick, as a huge fan. I think his concentration is really on PG Lang, and I think that should be a part of that interpretation. I have an inkling that he may be trying to undercut and put to rest a former image as “the voice of a generation,” given how his GKMC, TPAB, and DAMN are a trilogy , showcasing this persona he is putting to rest with his departure from TDE. That persona, who authored those albums, caused a huge shift -but in a lot of ways, it seems this album’s focus on grieving is really K-Dot (another old moniker he put to rest that we love to still call him affectionately) transitioning into another frame of mind, not sticking to this “Vessel of God” he finally dealt with at the wrap of DAMN (“if Anthony killed ducky…”). As such, this album -and the light drama surrounding it between TDE and Kendrick- elicits something a bit forced, but still drawing to a close as performed in the Heart pt. 5. Another way to put it is that this album is an epilogue to those three big hitters that landed this artist and storyteller a Pulitzer Prize. He’s moved on and I think it’s to really focus on whatever the “next thing” is for Kendrick beyond those three records (and ultimately, MMATBS).

I'm a huge Kendrick fan, but what he is doing is just plain WRONG. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD. It's that simple. He's not just a prophet. He is perfect. The fact that Jesus is perfect is why only He could die on the cross for our sins. Only a blameless (sinless) "lamb" could take our place. I sincerely pray that God will extend His grace to Kendrick and open his eyes to the truth.

@Yuefoh2 жыл бұрын
I think there is a duality when it comes to judgment. First, we should be careful about how we judge. We should not judge hypocritically. We are to move the plank from our eye first, then help our brother. Second, we should not judge according to appearance but with righteous judgment. To criticize something before you investigate the matter will lead to unjust accusations. Third, judging is needed. How do we define what or who is good or bad? We judge. For example, if you see a guy walking around your neighborhood in the middle of the night and checking all the car doors, you wouldn't say, "I won't judge him." You would probably say, "He is a criminal," and call the cops. Thus, you are ultimately judging. Our actions need judgment. Living without judgment is living without accountability, which will lead people to hell (metaphorically and spiritually speaking). We should call out the hypocrisy and lies justly and without shame. On Kendrick: I think Kendrick has lost his way. But I do believe that Jesus can save him, though. I'm sure being famous is tough. At the top is where the devil lives in this world. He will come after you if you try to find God. I think that this is happening to Kendrick. His album is like a testimony. He's hurt and confused and searching. Who's praying for him? Kendrick has to make a choice, the world or God. He can't have both. If you're Christ's, you have to forsake the world. You must die to yourself and bear your cross. Being saved requires sacrifice. But before all that, Kendrick must ask if he truly believes. That's the biggest question. With true faith, one is born again of the Holy Spirit and is made into a new creation. The archaic man is buried with the law, and the spiritual man is born free in Christ Jesus. Until Kendrick is born again, he can be used by the devil. This is true for all none believers. Jesus doesn't support abortions just like he didn't support the killing of Cain. God is life. That's why He promises everlasting life to those who believe. Anyway, I digress. Please, pray for Kendrick.

Jesus is God. He's fully God and fully human. He was created perfect and remained perfect until His death. The purpose of the crucifixion was redemption for our sins, the ultimate sign of the love He has for us, and to overcome death - all things that were accomplished. Jesus is the ONLY way to salvation. He IS the savior. Kendrick is going about it the wrong way. On the surface, and how most people will interpret it - is that Kendrick is portraying a savior and looks to be worshiped on stage as God. It's unethical, blasphemous, and wrong. I really want to like Kendrick. But blasphemy is an immediate dealbreaker.
