I will never forget Cryme Tyme, such a good tag team and they were really funny.

It was soooo racist though. I remember when I was away at basic training(no entertainment while I was there) and when I graduated, my family came and saw me. My brother caught me up on WWE and told me about Cryme Tyme and I imagined two big white guys that looked like Repo Man. When I finally got home and saw these two black guys who dressed like thugs, spoke broken english and stole things as their gimmicks, my jaw dropped that WWE would stoop that level.They still do racist crap, but I don't think they ever top Cryme Tyme.

Cryme Time was their own gimmick, it's not meant to be racist... Shad & Jason are back together now as Crime Time. What killed them was partnering with Cena as CTC, they only had 2 to 3 showings outside of dark matches, then Shad had an outing in the locker room and quit.

interesting a little over a year on to see where all these guys are: jtg just some small time indie appearances, camacho working for tna, curt hawkins working for gfw and making some appearances in tna as part of their kinda invasion angle thing, brodus clay in his comfort zone as ec3's bodyguard on tna doing a decent job, drew mcintyre getting a good push in tna, evan bourne just signed for njpw and doing good work in roh, yoshi tatsu back in njpw just getting back into training after a broken neck, jinder mahal working for inoki's promotion igf over in japan. most of them doing pretty well which is good to see. guess those comments about dixie licking her lips weren't too far off, half of the male wrestlers released now appear on tna

For me, I was most surprised by Drew McIntyre, Curt Hawkins, and Evan Bourne. I always thought that maybe we would get a Major Brothers reunion between Hawkins and Ryder. I always thought McIntyre would break away from 3MB and take back his throne as "The Chosen One." And I was waiting impatiently for the return of Evan Bourne. I was a fan of all three and those three cuts were the most surprising for me.

Most of these guys should do well elsewhere, I can see McIntyre making it back to the WWE at some point, he's been looking great on the indies lately. Hawkins might actually be a good fit for the new TNA if he wants to go there, Brodus would probably do well overseas if he amps up the intensity a bit, and Bourne should do well back in ROH, or Lucha Underground if they continue to grow. Camacho might do well in Japan, especially if they acknowledge that he's the son of Haku. Jinder Mahal always looked like he could be a solid talent with a little more experience, and JTG could be a good addition to just about any promotion if he turned down the gimmick a few notches, the guy has no lack of charisma, seems like he would be over as a baby face in the right setting. Hopefully, Aksana decides to retire.

tthomaselli2 probably for 2 reasons. 1 its not like todays refs are the ones we grew up with, hell do we even pay attention to who the refs are anymore? they can probably get away with just 3 refs and no one would notice. the other reason is back when all these cuts happened is about the time WWE stopped making all those crapy movies. They put millions of dollars into the WWE film project and they lost their ass on it so im sure that was a reason that most of these cuts took place.

Zaizai115 Maybe because their are more talented guys on the roster to push that actually have more main event tools, it's not like Kofi or Big e have real Main event potential at this point in their careers and Mark Henry had his world title reign and upper card spotlight a few years ago and is now a old veteran in his 40's that is better suited putting young guys over that's not a case of racism, this is 2015 not 1950.

Matt sydal was already in TNA once. If anything, going back to tna would do him the world of good. Their X Division isn't where it used to be and Sydal could be the focal point of the X Division. As far as McIntyre goes, he's been in the USA for so long, i think he may be okay. He was on the main roster before the chosen one gimmick as a baby face. He didn't get over, he went back to fcw and then redebuted as the chosen one. Its a shame he's gone because he could of been a main event level guy given a chance.

TNA doesnt mean anything anyway. Its a good awful promotion but they need bodies and someone like Sydal who has a moderately good following but exceptional ability can shine in that environment. If rumours are correct that TNA are going to focus more on their x division, Sydal has a chance with the lack of bodies in that company to make a name for himself and get over. Before he was just another x division guy. Now, he could be the number one baby face in their x division. Its the best choice he has. Whats he going to do? Go back to ROH?

I think the problem somehow probably stems from Triple H looking pathetic when he fought Taka Michinoku many years ago. I think it was supposed to elevate Triple H to a whole new level and it ended up doing the reverse at that time. Taka ended up looking extremely good that match whilst Triple H looked mediocre at best. We all know that Vince doesn't like to see "little guys" get over the physically bigger performers. It also stems from them not wanting to put over none home trained talent.

Drew was talented... But when he was the "chosen one" this theme was more over than him. I see multiple people on numinous sites say that Drew never drew a dime as IC Champ. Yet now everyone says he is super talented? Personally I liked him. They could have done a British babyface gimmick on him. Still boggles my mind to this day about Evan Bourne being so stupid. To my knowledge, the punishment for smoking ACTUAL pot in WWE is a fine, not a suspension, as well it does not go as a violation against the Wellness Policy. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But if this is true, why on earth would anyone smoke synthetic pot, if they could easily just pay out a small fine if they were to get caught with the real stuff? I believe the cuts happened simply because Vince lost an ass ton of money as far as shares goes... nearly $700 million and like all jobs especially if you know about the business world, you know that when your Boss losses lots of money, then here comes the cuts. It wasn't that many wrestlers. It was just 9. Plus, I view this as simply cutting the fat and nothing else. Brodus Clay has been in the roster long enough and still hasn't made an impact like Sandow, Ziggler, Ryback, and etc. Aksana messed up badly. Therefore, she wasn't worth saving. Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal are part of the 3MB which the general casual audience doesn't like. Curt Hawkins, Camacho where on the bottom of the totem pole. They been with the company the longest. In the WWE it is the opposite. The one's with seniority are the first to go if they didn't move up. Evan Bourne he messed up. He gets into an "accident" when he's suspended. WWE didn't want to take a risk with him. Yoshi Tatsu he's Asian. The WWE are terrible with Asians. Plus, they can never be the WHC if they are not fluent English speakers. (+)
