Keep in mind that this is just my opinion
There are some language and editing mistakes in the video, but the editing, thinking and watching of the movie took me about 16 to 18 hours (and rendering takes an hour with my good old pc), that I don't regret, but im tired now and I'm not even shure if anyone will be interested in my gibberish.
If I talk about "no good animes, I mean shows, but:
Okay, I fell in love with Neon Genesis Evangelion and Violet Evergarden and Death Note are also good, even though they have their weaknesses, but Evangelion is insane (after the first 3 episodes), but I still think Kaguya is better.

I don't want to offend anyone with this video
if any artist wants that I take down the video, I hope we will find a good solution, but at the end I of course will take it down, since I used stuff I don't own, but every word I said was 100% my opinion and theory.

Really enjoyed your vid. Kaguya is up there near the top for me as well. I like your theory about the end but I have different thoughts about it. My theory is that the moon also serves as a prison for Kaguya. This is because a place where there is only good doesn’t bring you happiness. It makes you feel empty. Do the moon people even feel things at all? If they don’t know bad, they don’t know good. I think keeping it as a punishment adds to the message that wealth and the afterlife are just false promises of happiness. The father desired wealth and got it, but they never felt like they fit that role. Kaguya and her mother sought ways to feel at home again, but for the father it’s more vague. The father can’t seem to get used to his hat. It keeps bumping on the frame of the door, and I think it means the role of nobility never really fit him. As people, we naturally want wealth and power. But will it really make us happy? I don’t think so. I think some people would never feel at home being in that position. After all, being wealthy still means you’re a human with desires. Kaguya desired to leave the Earth and return to the moon (which can be seen as an afterlife), but regretted that decision when she thought of how she enjoyed being on Earth. This desire came from great suffering, which a lot of people can relate to. Sometimes people want to end their lives because of how much they’re suffering. But going to a place where there is emptiness (like death or the afterlife) is not worth it. What Kaguya really wanted was a humble life as a bamboo cutter’s daughter. Her tragedy comes from normal human desires, whether that be from other people or herself. She can’t change that, she just has to live with it. Being on Earth can be seen as a punishment, but it is ultimately worth living there. Wanting to leave it is a mistake. Kaguya learns of how much of a mistake that was, and regrets it on her way to the moon. That’s just what I think though. It’s great that we can pull so much meaning out of this movie. I wonder how you feel about Cowboy Bebop? I think it has a lot to say as well.

Thanks a lot. But I haven't included that to the video . Maybe don't have too high expectations for the video, as it's the first of that kind I made and I still have to learn.

@@nniitchh It is fine, I don't expect everyone to catch every single one of the cultural references in the movie. ^^ In fact, the reason why I posted this comment here in the first place was specifically _because_ I am aware of the fact that the ending of Princess Kaguya has made a lot of people confused and I've seen quite a few interpretations of what the ending means that probably could've benefited from the input of some dork like myself. ^^;

@@GrahamChapman I appreciate your commitment ☄️. I only mention my own theory in this video, which is not based on Japanese culture and I don't know if anyone really likes it, but let's see.

@@GrahamChapman Do you know if raigō is always associated with death? Cause I interpreted that differently.

@@nniitchh Well, I'm looking forward to hearing your theories and interpretations of the events then. ^^ I'll try keep an open and understanding mind even in the eventuality that I do end up feeling adverse to the theories and interpretations themselves. Yes, raigō is exclusively a thanatosian concept. For the record I may as well also note that the Moon is also closely associated with The Pure Land/The Realm of The Dead in Japanese Buddhism, and this association is often alluded to in both anime (e.g., Kaguya here) and video games (e.g., Bloodborne).
