Excellent work! I agree completely that you really want the cabanes and outer struts removable if necessary. Can't wait to see this one in the air!

Im leaning towards removable.

On the trailing edge infills I would have used pieces of trailing edge section pushed through from the inside and the extra trimmed off, as we know though there are many ways to do any particular job. I'll link to the lower wing technique on my D7 soon. The aoa on my Dr.1 has the top wing one degree lessso it's the last wing to stall ... having the ailerons 🙂

Cheers Cliff not having any trailing edge to hand I needed to make my own. My view was to have the upper wing a a degree less than the other two (three) but all I have read so far points to 0 ° on each wing.

@@MarkCroucherRC4funIt won't make a real difference anyway ... the ailerons aren't that effective!

Thanks Cliff I'll watch it again ☺️

The "scallops" were created by the trailing edge wire being stretched or bowed in from the shrunk fabric. Typically there should be less curvature than more.

That's as I understand it, as this is a "sports" model Im happy to make it something of a caricature. Perhaps the next one😊
