Thoughts on the SteamDeck after One Week

4:00 Something I was not aware of until months into owning a Deck is the left trackpad acts as a scroll wheel while in Desktop Mode. Circular clockwise and counter-clockwise motions on it scroll up and down.

bought almost two years ago, one of the best purchases ever. you can play it for just half an hour or connect it to the TV on the fly. The strong point for me is the whole system, and how everything is well integrated and constantly supported.

I keep it simple. I just play the steam games that work. I dont mind trying a demanding game setting it to low and locking the game to 30 for like a ps4 experience. I did recently with Silent hill 2 remake. Game started off a little scary at like 15-20 fps and then a couple minutes later i was in the main area of the game at a locked 30 and i finished that whole thing.

U can use non steam launcher too add 3rd parts stores on to the deck. And I would personally get the oled over the lcd and instal decky loader
