I understand the frustration of the pat mcgrath collector but we have to take into consideration the non collector customers as well. I am one of them. I can almost guarantee that the average customer is not buying every single palette. I have zero interest in owning all the motherships to have the complete set. If I did, most of them would sit in the drawer unused which for me is a waste. I feel the average customer is looking for an eyeshadow palette that can take them from day to night and they can where anywhere. For some people, sunlit seduction will fit that need. I just recently purchased 2 palettes: divine rose 1 and bronze seduction after years of these palettes coming out. They are pretty neutralish type palettes for me personally. Some people prefer quads for simplicity, some prefer 6 pans for a little more variety, others like the motherships for whatever the reason. So the overlaps in colors among these different palettes don’t surprise me. People have different budgets, tastes and needs.

Very well put Renee! Most folks are not collectors so I totally get it. Do you plan to pick up this new release or stick to the two palettes you already have?

@@BeautayJunkay The palettes just arrived in the mail a few hours ago 😆. So excited. For now, I plan to stick with the 2 palettes I have. Plus, I have the sigma ambiance palette which is the perfect “sunlit” palette for my tan deep skin tone. I have seen 2 reviews on the sunlit seduction palette so far and as of now I think I can safely pass. If I was looking for a third pm mothership though it would either be sunlit seduction or huetopian. I am leaning towards the later because of the baked shades. They really are special.
