I usually don't really read Middle Grade but the way you review this makes me want to read Furthermore SO MUCH. :)

This sounds interesting! I personally love me some middle grade! The writing does tend to be a bit more distant, but I really love how middle grade tends to focus more on friendship rather than romance, which I need more of in my YA/adult fiction tbh.

I'm looking forward to reading this. I read the first couple of chapters at my local bookstore and enjoyed it. I love middle grade, so I'm always in that section browsing to see what I'll enjoy. I did recently read the first chapters of Shadow And Bone (I believe you really like the Grisha trilogy) and enjoyed it, so we'll see how I like that one, as I don't generally read YA.

I feel the same way when it comes to middle grade novels, I can never seem to get fully attached to the story and characters and that's the one and only thing setting me back from reading this! It had such a good premise and I feel like I will enjoy it, but I'm thinking I might just read the Shatter Me trilogy first :)
