Hello Visionaries! We hope you enjoy todays video and get some helpful information from it. Kim is such a wealth of information! Also, we noticed that another one of our videos that was scheduled for next week somehow started at the same time that this video started this morning. We had to shut it down and reschedule again like it was prior. This was very odd! We had checked it numerous times and it was showing that it was scheduled correctly. I am very picky about that and I will check multiple times by hovering over the videos to check the dates and be sure nothing changes every single week. In fact, I left the web browser live were it was after I had scheduled just yesterday...and so I hovered over the video once I seen it went live this morning and it STILL showed that it was not scheduled for today. So...either the KZbin system somehow made a mistake or someone somehow has hacked into our account. We just wanted to give a heads up if you are wondering where that video went if you seen it this morning. We now have it rescheduled again for next Saturday. Sorry for any inconvenience.

20:52 we have a ❤membership my parents purchased around 1980. It was in Lake of Springs in Oregon House, CA. My mother brought people on tours for ❤membership sales. Was wondering what type of membership they had purchased?

Hi Brian and Michelle! This is definitely a home run video! Lots of information straight from the expert! It is great to hear Kim's explanations of the programs, then hear your on the ground experience injected also. I also really liked how Kim emphasized that she is available for questions, whether you are purchasing a program or not. This video, as well as the Thousand Trails Map (and Encore additions) will help make it useful to determine if this system can be used in our 1-2 month trip plans that we will take to explore specific regions of the country. Catching all of the national parks will be one of our agendas. So, my quick take on it is that maybe we could focus on the Rocky Mountain regions (a location not covered by Thousand Trails and affiliates) and other parts of the country that have gaps in Thousand Trails system first, then purchase the program so that we could continuously use it for a couple of years. Yes, we use it anytime a Thousand Trails is in an area that we will be staying. Certain places we stay longer and utilize them there more. It still makes the membership worth it. Paying day after day or week after week really adds up, which we have to do in some areas.

I just bought an Elite TT membership thru Kim and she was very good. You may have to be patient with the transfer paperwork depending on how busy it is, it took TT around 6 weeks to complete the paperwork. Kim was fast with the paperwork, the bottleneck was at TT.

We absolutely love it…what’s to hate when you save a ton of money and get to see lots of your friends that you make through the campgrounds. We’ve paid for places to stay many times that weren’t any better than some of the older Thousand Trails. Once you’re living full tome for a while, you start to really understand why the membership is so worth having. We’ve had our membership for almost 3 years now, come this Nov 28, 2022.

She has a ton of info pre-made that she can send out PLUS, don’t be afraid to tell her your plans, she is always more than willing to help out. One thing about Kim, is she will not pester or pressure you at all. She simply gives her honest opinion based off of her many years of expertise. She knows the ins and outs of every plan new and old. Another thing you will notice, if she thinks a newer plan is better for you that she doesn’t sell - she will tell you so and not try selling you one that she has. You will be very impressed! 😊🤓

Few thank goodness for Kim. She is a wealth of information. I have a question...If you have an added encore trails package, and you want to stay say at Sunshine RV Resort in the Keys, but...you want a waterfront site..would you get a discounted rate for that waterfront site? Or can you even get a waterfront site with your membership? Or would you still end up paying full price for that waterfront site? We have been traveling to the Keys for a yearly family vacation for the last 2 years. Have been lucky to stay at Curry Hammock State Park. This year we were supposed to stay at Sunshine Key this April...canceled that's to COVID..Few that site was very pricey. IF I am going to pay a big fee I might as well enjoy a waterfront site. Thanks for a great video!

Great question! Here is what we have experienced. IF they are not busy and they have sites available...and this means that the empty waterfront site is not already booked to have someone in it during the time that you will be there...then it IS possible and sometimes Encore will charge you an upgrade fee and sometimes they will simply let you have it. What we have found is that it all depends on who is working that day. The upgrade fee is something that you would have to ask them directly. So yes, you CAN get the waterfront site for the same $20, but you likely will not at a high use resort like Sunshine Key unless it is during off season, then your chances are better. Example...we stayed at the Encore (Trails Collection) San Francisco RV Resort last summer and they put as at the front by the cliff, viewing the ocean for no extra cost and we didn’t even ask. Still was only $20 a night for a normal rate well over $100 a night. Hope that helped answer your question. 😊🤓

To let everyone know. Tropical storm Elsa went through south carolina this week and we went to a hotel. When we got back to the rig the park at points south informed us that we were being charged for not being at our sit we for 3 days $35 a day.

I've officially gone from videos that don't offer enough information to one that gave so much information my brain hurts! I'm saving this so I can watch it 32 more times! So, they DO have a package that allows you to ultimately stay in their parks 365 days a year?

“32 more times” 😂🤣🤪 Yes, you can stay 365 days a year, you just have to go from park to park and not stay at the same one a consistent 365 days. There are multiple memberships that allow this but some let you stay 21 straight days at ONE park or 14 or even 28 days but you have to know what the carats are to each membership to know what is right for you. That’s why we HIGHLY recommend talking to or asking Kim questions. A simple email to her will grant you a wealth of information and she will not pester you. It’s up to you after that point. She is always available to answer questions. Sometimes it may take a while to get back to you, simply because of how busy she is. She can answer questions much better than we can with her many years of being in the business. She also keeps up with all the info and comparisons of the new memberships that Thousand Trails sells and can tell you the pros and cons. Curious what you’re thoughts are on Campground Outlet/Thousands Trails. 7 weeks ago we paid 5k for a membership. We were told we’d have a membership in 2-3 weeks. 😂 STILL waiting. Our Airstream purchase included 14 free days at TT and @ the first one we book- we arrived and got out of their quick. The 2nd one was just tolerable at best. A lot of the people looked one step away from homeless. Wishing we never bought a membership…. To anyone considering- read BBB & Yelp reviews before buying, wish I did.

There are good and run down campgrounds everywhere. We have stayed at NUMEROUS campground across the country through Thousand Trails and that is not how they all are. You can’t base a judgment off of just a couple. Sounds like you may of picked a couple that needs updated. Ask around from those that have more experience with TT. There are many nice campgrounds also and once you start traveling, you will figure out the ones to stay at and the ones to stay away until they have updated them. We don’t get paid to say this stuff, we simply give a true honest opinion based off of experience.

Just wanted to let you know that we were very disappointed in Campground Outlet and Kim. First it was one email from Kimberly and then we were passed off to her dad. The suggested membership didn't even fit our needs and we were steered away from Thousand Trails completely. Not impressed at all. We'll have to figure it out on our own. Big diappointment.

Oh my, so very sorry. That’s the first time we’ve ever heard something like this about them. We’re so sorry you had a bad experience. 😞 We don’t know the complete details of both sides but we do know that is something that is extremely unusual. Hopefully you still got a Thousand Trails membership, because it’s the most useful membership that will also save you the most. We have tried Coast to Coast also sold by Kim but we have not been impressed with that membership. We wish you the best of luck. 🧡

@@LivinRVision Update: After watching several more videos and talking to Thousand Trails we went back to Kimberly. We had a completely different experience this time and we bought a membership. It's so confusing and I hope we made the best choice. We bought an Elite. We liked the VIP but we needed the 81 parks due to the location where our kids live. Thanks!
