This is gonna apply to all forms of physical media soon, believe it or not. Once everything is more or less forced into making the switch to digital only for content release, people will wake up and realize the value of owning something physical that can't be manipulated or erased from the company. If I were you, I'd hold on to anything you have media related if you own movies, books, or games. In a few years those will be gold.

Hmm, I didn't realize it until you mentioned that. I noticed not much are on shelves at Target. At first I thought they were going out of business, but they are busy Or to deter shop lifting, but they have those enclosed cabinets plus security casing. I guess it's more convenient for companies to go digital: less distribution cost, materials expense, control of content, prevent piracy and theft.

Totally. I remember when big retail stores like Toys R Us, Walmart and Target had multiple aisles of massive shelves 8 feet high and as long and far as the eye can see chuck full of games and consoles locked up behind glass. Now? It’s the opposite and you only find a small amount. Physical media will have value.

See VHS. They're pretty much garbage. Also look at CDs and DVDs. Even vinyl's can be dirt cheap. Not everything becomes collectible.@@lordcheesus1013

I'm sure someone has said this already but the Famicom Mini's that look like they are magazines are a special edition Shonen Jump version. All the games on it are old famicom games based off of Shonen Jump manga such as Dragon Ball among others.
