Thousands of us Took over a Server as the new Nycta in Path of Titans

The Nycta has been in production for so long with the community. It's origin started in a game called The Isle where a community i founded over there (Isla Nycta) was passionate about seeing this modded into the world. Unfortunately we never did get mod capability once it was near ready and ultimately it became an expensive folder just collecting dust. In the last year NR, Jek, Doctor, Kami, and many others have come together to finally bring this creature to the world for all of you. Alderon Games and Path of Titans made this possible! It will be possible for every server to host the mod as a polished free addition tomorrow if they choose with major thanks to the Isla Nycta community for continuous play-testing and even the famously known Primordial Tyrants mod developers for feedback in a early preview! Thank you all for your support and understanding over all these years. I'm so happy this is finally out for you all and i can't wait to show you what else we plan to do. The bar is set with the Nycta and we will do even better for the next!

Just going to add that the Nyctatyrannus was originally a Tissoplastic Rex as well with its nickname being the “Sub Tisso”. The “Sub Tisso” was 1 of the 3 official strains in The Isle which are Hyperendoncrin, Neurotenic, & Tissoplastic.

I won't lie Anthomia I'm quite happy to see that your own Dinosaur as finally come. The models and texture looks really good. The one thing that kinda bugs me would be the venom thing, don't get me wrong I can actually see this thing being venomous but I also imagine that it would have a crushing bite like Dasp and a bleeding or shredding bite because of those teeth. Maybe with some toxins this thing could indeed have a bleeding bite. Also are we going to see the King and Queen Nyctatyrannos in the future?

Tested this guy on singleplayer and holy heck i love its skin and features I do play on community servers too,but once AI is added i was planning on playing on my own with my favourite mods XD.

The team you hired to work on this creature did damn good with it. The movements and animations are fluid, the sounds are spot on like they were made inside of a professional recording studio and not through a tin-can (then again, the sound engineer iirc is the one that worked on Subnautica), the attention to detail on the textures are really nice touches... overall, it is how you envisioned it to be, and how we had been expecting. tl:dr: Excellent work! This dream-becoming-digital-reality has been a looooooooooooong birth for you and the team. :D

I wish this was the nature of the nycta. It would have tons of kids then the strong would survive. Bro it looks amazing in my head. The most feared the nycta is. Is when it has child. Because even the babies poison would be enough to kill most creatures. And 20 kids would be a walking catastrophe.

personal opinion but after playing it quite extensively since the moment it went live on the nycta servers, the leg animations need a little work and overall it needs a buff. i'm aware it's bite got a slight increase but it's easily outclassed but most other therapods in the game. perhaps a minor health increase? and i would say based on its playstyle, swap the venom for bleed. i'd personally love to know where you anth wanted it to sit on the food chain but its pretty low as of right now.

From my experience the Nycta needs a buff. It gets it’s 𝘢𝘴𝘴 kicked by Utah raptors way too easily. For context I can 1v2 Utahs as a Metri quite easily, so I can assume Metri doesn’t have much problems killing Nycta either.
