Super excited for this playthrough!!! For those of you who are just now discovering this game or thinking about getting it, I just want you all to know that the developers of this game have pretty much abandoned it at this point. There has been no positive updates for PC since the 1.0 update, and it's looking dire in the future. With that being said, the state the game is in now is really not that bad, and especially on PC with getting the stats mod you can really make this game look more realistic than skate ever could look. If you are a fan of getting realistic clips this game is great for that and feels super smooth once you get the controls down. Just remember updates might be slim in the future and the modding scene is slowly starting to slow down.

Also the best part of Skater XL in my opinion is the ability to develop your own style. There are tons of little techniques to develop your own steeze on tricks, and you can make the same kickflip look different just by adjusting your feet in air much like in real life.
