I haven't played in a few months but I had much more success playing 5 color humans in legacy. You get access to far better disruptive creatures like Jirina, Lavinia, reflector mage. A one of Rick is also a must imo

In the sneak n show match isn't boarding out vexing bauble just opening up their entire deck? Force, daze, petal, fury and omniscience are all bricks with it in play

Sure, but do most of those cards matter? Show and Tell -> creature beats my deck. Omni -> Emrakul ignores Bauble. I am fine with my opponent trading 1-for-1 or 2-for-1 with my mana efficient cards. Taking a turn off to play Bauble slows down my aggression, which is probably the most important thing for me in the matchup.

I don't think hypothetical "What does this color need?" discussions are useful. I'm a big "Play the format you have." believer. Spending energy on hypothetical situations isn't super worth the time. That said, yeah, something or probably multiple things need to go from the UB shell.

23:00 what does Phil mean here, why would the opponent want to fetch after letting the Sentinel ability resolve? does he just mean that the opponent missed their opportunity to pay for the Sentinel? if they let it resolve then i don't see how it's related to fetching or not fetching exactly.

The opponent needed to fetch PRIOR to passing priority on the Esper Sentinel trigger. They were trying to fetch in the middle of the trigger when they were asked to pay, which doesn't work.

Having Thalia or thorn in play with vexing bauble would defeat the purpose of vexing bauble in my opinion. Sure it wouldn’t be free pitch spells. But you could still play them.

the reason for banning orcish bowmasters isnt that its broken, its that making all x/1 creatures basically unplayable vastly limits the spectrum of playable decks
