I feel if you are going to play Maverick in Modern that you should be playing Leonin Arbiter with Ghost Quarter to simulate the effect of Wasteland in Legacy.

I previously didn't watch a ton of your modern content but I'm loving the videos coming out recently, Modern is healing? Any idea on why the card text is weird though? It looks like any card that uses Beleren isn't rendering correctly, and shorter card names look weird

Idk if Knight of the Reliquary specifically is power crept out of legacy. Maybe it just needs a new shell after all these years 🤷‍♂️

4 Knights and a wight without talon gates or Sejiri seems really weird to me. I understand that the deck will be weaker that its legacy counterpart when you don't have as many good lands to tutor for (no karakas, no wasteland, no maze, no craddle) but this list doesn't even include the ones that are actually modern legals. Esper sentinel seems very mid to me, I think i'd rather try some giver of runes or Thalia in their spot if the goal is to try and emulate OG legacy maverick. The removal suite also feels strange to me : decay, push, bowmasters and ending all miss the same creatures, leaving only grist to do anything about the bigger stuff.

i'm leaving this comment after only having watched the deck tech, but not having Boseiju seems like a mistake. and Flooded Strand being a nongreen fetch in a green-focused midrange deck seems really bad. i think it's quite reasonable to just swap the two Strand for two Boseiju and call it good
