I'm still an XP11 flier, (MSFS in numb, XP12 is not optimised enough) and I am (was) trying to decide between this and the AFL King Air 350. But by 3:25 you have already sold this too me. I fly my own VA, small airfields in the UK, taking PAX and Cargo around. I will base this out of Elstree. Really great videos, extremely detailed and very well presented.

You guys are just insane. I have the Beaver and it's the plane I have the most fun with in X-Plane. So I was expecting a lot, but you still managed to surpass my expectation so far. The added configuration options for the seats is a nice detail, and I'm not sure since KZbin compresses the quality of the video quite a bit, but the instruments and the overall detail on the dashboard looks better than in your previous planes, that's personally something I really value in the addons I buy. And if that is the case, it gets me optimist for your products in XP12. Great job so far. Can't wait for the rest of the videos and to get to fly it myself. Gotta start thinking about the configuration I'll choose...

Nice video showcasing this beautiful aircraft! One question though, will we see the option to get the Garmin G1000 flight deck suite ?

Ah yes, sorry about that! I was using a development build to record the video, and was hoping it wasn't too noticeable. We have since fixed that issue.

This DGS version seems like it will be a big improvement over the original. I enjoy version one immensely, so I can only imagine how fun this will be. I used to take trips in the C208 throughout Africa when I filmed for relief groups. Even sat in the right seat a few times. Pilots would never let me take the yoke, so now I'm making up for lost time.The Caravan is an amazing aircraft!

consider making the airplane settings menu more modern. This menu is cool but outdated. And in general, many thanks for your work! You are out of competition

Do I have to buy any Additional plug-in to be able to use the different panel presets ?
@josephnoe29562 жыл бұрын
Nope! The panel presets are part of the base Caravan package. You can use the existing presets, or create and save your own!

I'll never understand the emphasis on all the things in sim airplanes that really don't matter, instead of showing us that the systems are all modeled and actually work correctly. Some months ago I was contemplating taking a job flying real Caravans and bought the Carenado G1000 Caravan to get a head start on training, and it absolutely sucked. Important features of the real airplane such as the Emergency Power Lever for use if the fuel controller fails, weren't even modeled. Sure, it looked pretty but why would a sim pilot want "pretty" instead of "accurate"? Are this Caravan cockpit and systems actually modeled accurately or is it just a toy for the children like Carenado's junk?
@josephnoe29562 жыл бұрын
We've been working with real Caravan pilots to make it as realistic as we can. Feel free to have a look through my tutorial videos (Electrical system was yesterday, Fuel System will be coming out today in a few minutes) to have a look at what we've modeled and how it works.
@glennkamers2 жыл бұрын
Many people like all the things "that don't matter" You can't really please everyone. Horses for courses. You could make the most detailed, realistically modeled systems and people would still complain. An example of that would be the CL650 by Hotstart, and absolutely brilliant model with systems to match more than enough modeled to do a type rating with it and yet people complained about the price.

@@glennkamers I'm coming at it as a real-life commercial pilot and flight instructor. It pains me to see a sim airplane with fantastic graphics but that doesn't behave much at all like the real airplane, whether systems, flight model or both. Plenty of sim airplane advertising videos spend all kinds of time showing all the "golly-isn't-that-amazing" graphics, but barely mention the systems nor flight model, which sadly might be absolutely terrible. Carenado's Caravan come to mind, hence my comment. Guaranteed, sitting in the pilot seat of a real airplane you're barely conscious of what's in the cabin behind you. As a real-life pilot, I'm far more interested in the sim airplane behaving like the real thing, otherwise it's no better than a toy. In my opinion, of course. I am very pleased that this Caravan appears to be very accurately modeled. I only have two hours logged flying the real Grand Caravan EX so I'll defer to others on just how accurate this sim model is, but to me it looks darned good. I'll be buying it for sure!
